Usually I'm ok with the Firkin Pub chain, but this location let me down in a big way. I ordered the fish and chips, my friend ordered the Ruben sandwich. My friend said his sandwich tasted funny, and my fries were obviously old and re-fried, clumped together and stale. The fish was so dry I could pick it up and use it as a club (as a joke I attempted this, and was surprised the filet could take such a beating). I sent the fish and chips back, asking for a burger with a Caesar salad. The salad was good, the burger was unsurprisingly terrible. It was basically a hockey puck on a bun. This kind of pub food is so easy to make, it's amazing that this chain restaurant would serve such bad food.

On Friday night, July 12, 2024, at 8 pm , I had the misfortune of visiting the Fox Pub in Eglinton to watch the soccer game. What should have been an enjoyable evening turned into a nightmare thanks to the utterly incompetent bartender. Her service was beyond terrible – it was downright insulting!
This woman had the audacity to completely ignore me while serving my husband. She couldn't even be bothered to properly serve a beer, carelessly slopping it onto the glass and leaving the mess on the countertop. Her negligence was infuriating!
When we tried to order food, she couldn't even muster the basic courtesy of making eye contact. We were left wondering if she'd even heard our order or if she just didn't care. Her blatant disrespect towards both my husband and me was absolutely intolerable.
I'm absolutely livid about this experience. The Fox Pub can forget about ever seeing me darken their doorway again. Their staff's complete lack of professionalism and common decency has cost them a customer for good. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Worse bar i’ve been to, whoever owns this place should really hire new waitresses the service is absolutely terrible, we were there last night, we had to wait an hour and remind them 3 times what we ordered, they kept forgetting, I think they were high or something, at the end they refused to bring us the bill, they just brought us the machine to pay, they were confused the entire time, such a sketchy place, never going back!
