Worth bar in town to watch a match. Forced tips. We were going to tip but damn, why do you force it.
The staff is just super unpleasant.
Just finished our drinks and forced to take another round to stay for the end of the match (15 minute). We would have known we would have take our time on the first round. And they refused to remove the tip as we didn’t want to give one as the first one was forced.
Super disappointed, we clearly won’t come back.

Decent burger, fries and onion rings taste super frozen. Nothing special. Also, portion is SMALL for the side of fries considering other pub portions in the downtown core. Honestly had low expectations for this place going into it since it was in the basement. But I got to say that all changed when I went into it, our server Shane is on his sh!t. Buddy was out here with hawk eyes noticing when we needed a refill or needed service. Hell I didn't even know I needed a refill till he came out of nowhere and asked. Honestly great service and not pesky coming to the table every five minutes. Buddy's got spider sense for when you need something

For those craving for dessert, I would suggest you try this hidden gem desert in th Friar. The sticky toffee pudding in this pub is the best. Try it yourself and let me know the vibe you get.

Cool vibes in this place. Dark and plenty of beverage choices. We ordered some food and it was good. Would go back for a more quiet drinking experience. Staff was super lovely also which was nice. The fried pickles were a highlight. Pitchers of beer are always delicious.

Met some friends for a beer after work to enjoy the patio. I got the chicken club sandwich and it was delicious! I never actually went inside to get the vibe, so I'll have to do that next time. Patio space is quite limited because of the location, so you may have to wait for some space.
