My favorite Greek restaurant! The owner John is absolutely amazing.

my favourite Greek food on the danforth for 20+ years. they have the best RICE and the calamari is one of the most tender on the danforth obsessed forever loyal!

I came here with a few friends and the food and service were amazing! I highly recommend!!! Our favorites were the fried calamari and the gyro plate!!

We dropped by the friendly greek on a Saturday evening hoping for a good souvlaki meal
The place was almost full, and the decoration and setup were simple.
Right off the bat, we noticed there was one elder server working almost alone and really running to make things happen. Then, the younger lady server was there just as a body count ; slow and unresponsive.
We ordered a medium rare beef dinner and a chicken dinner.
The salad and drinks were served almost immediately while we had to wait a long time to get our main dishes. I guess the kitchen was running behind.
The chicken was good, but the beef was overcooked. i. e. Well done instead of medium rare and chewie.
We ate our meal despite all the issues in it, then had to wait another long time to get our bill.
I won't go back to this place.

The server was an exceptional server!
Greek souvlaki fell way below expectations. Chicken was dry and bland, salad portion was good but not enough dressing and tomatoes were of a lower grade. Rice was bland and overcooked, potatoes had potential! In all, bland can best describe the experience with a high price tag for the portion received.
Bathroom cleanliness was below expectations.
There are other alternative Greek restaurants nearby that will not disappoint!
We came, we tried and we will not be back sadly!

Looking for a great lunch spot look no further. Ioanni and his staff are amazing !!! Calamari cooked to perfection, the gyro and souvlaki dishes were well perfectly cooked and seasoned. Definitely a mist return!!!

I ate outside to enjoy the sunny day with my dog. It was Saturday and I arrived around 3:30pm and the place was not busy, but after 4pm a huge grupo arrived, and for my surprise the service continued good. The waiter looked very experient, and he was kind and attentive.
The food was tasty, very good portion and price.
