LOVE their food at the other locations. Never had any issue with their veggie pad Thai. Ordered through an app today requesting the veggie version but I can’t eat boiled cruciferous veggies so I noted tofu was fine but no veggies. Restaurant decided an up charge of $4.19 was appropriate. I understand if I’m asking for extra steak, or a free sauce- but this is noodles and bean curd. The veggie option already had a $2 up charge so with this $4.19, my dish would cost more than the chicken and shrimp pad thai.thankfully i was able to cancel in time- if $20 isnt enough, they can have zero.shame on this location. NEVER had an issue downtown like i did with them.dont be sneaky.Dietary 0

Conveniently located on the best street of the city, this restaurant serves pretty decent food. You can pick the mildness of your curry, thanks for that. I liked how they pointed out which dish included rice already. They didn’t force me into buying extra rice, I truly appreciate that.I didn’t dine in but I took some pictures for people looking for a quiet place for a date. Not sure if it’s queer friendly tho. Didn’t see any rainbow flags anywhere. The decor is super basic, the atmosphere is not especially “friendly”, just a regular Thai restaurant. I pays $18.07 for my vegetarian curry tax included.Vegetarian options: They offer tofu as an answer to the question “what protein source would you like in your curry?”

I have been ordering from this location for years. And I mean YEARS. Honestly, the food is hit or miss here, sometimes good, sometimes not good. But we kept ordering because you get value for your money. That ends today.I placed an online order with a special note specifying "allergic to peanuts, no peanuts." You would think that means no peanuts on the order, right?? WRONG. I ordered pad thai and mango salad, among other things. When I came in to pick up my order, I asked the server if there were peanuts in my order, she said no, after looking at the printed order paper. I said I know there are cashews in the mango salad, can you make sure those are in there? She took out the salad and I could see through the lid, they were there. I asked because I know sometimes if you specify a peanut allergy, they just remove all nuts. So I got home, opened the salad and scattered throughout the salad, amongst the whole cashews, were crushed peanuts. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! First of all, you SHOULD NOT be employing cooks in the kitchen who don't know how to read basic instructions on an order sheet. It was clear as day, no peanuts. Written twice. Why didn't the server verify with the kitchen when I asked her if there were peanuts in the order? She could have also prevented that order from leaving in my hands. When I say I have a peanut allergy, I mean that I could die if I consume them. This is not a joke. This is also not the first time that peanuts have been included in my order. When I place over the phone orders, I always inform the server on the phone of a peanut allergy. It should literally be on my file, connected to my phone number. The entire 10 year history of what I ordered should be on there. More than once, I'd get home and notice a small container of peanuts had been included in the bag when I clearly stated no peanuts with my pad thai. I still ate the food those times because the peanuts were not IN my pad thai but I had brought it to the server's attention once before. I'd get an apology but my issue is for it to not be repeated. Either way, this recent event was so infuriating to say the least. I returned the mango salad and asked to be refunded the price of the mango salad but big deal. Will the kitchen get reprimanded? Probably not. Will this happen again to someone else? Most likely. Will I ever order from here again? Absolutely NOT.
