The food was ok, pretty mediocre for a korean fried chicken place, considering it’s a chain it’s not bad. Most worth item would be the garlic butter fries. Chicken could use improvement, especially the soy garlic as anytime we come the flavour is very inconsistent. Sometimes can be good other times over salted. Galbi chicken is also a hit or miss as the sauce can get overly sweet. Waitress was friendly and constantly helping out and looking out for our table which was nice. Overall the fry is an ok place to go if you want korean fried chicken, its very similar to how McDonalds is like the go to place for fast food, quick choice if you don’t know where to go.

Used to love this place, would always visit the place & even do takeouts from this place, but one recent experience that I had here made me completely change my mind. Recently went to The fry at North York Centre, was greeted by this extremely rude receptionist but it’s okay I get it everyone has a bad day. Later I ordered my food and I was told and I quote “YOU KNOW YOU CAN’T STAY INSIDE THE STORE RIGHT ? YOU HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE FOR YOUR ORDER! “ I am like sure it’s covid, I get it. Been waiting for almost 15 minutes outside and it was really cold & windy that day, then I see another guy entering the store, he ordered his food and he’s waiting inside the store, he received his food before me and was also said thank you, come back again by the receptionist. Funny thing the covid rules of waiting outside for food once done ordering doesn’t comply to everyone (since the other customer was Korean) . Later, the receptionist left my order on the table and didn’t even thank me or bothered acknowledging me. It was disappointing to experience that. And we decided to never visit this place again.

Fried chicken was outstanding First time here Waitress was excellent Very welcoming even providing a complimentary dish realizing it was our first time trying there restaurant. Service beyond 5 star Napkins water always there for anything that we needed. Overall outstanding place to eat and reasonable priced We will be back

I recently visited The Fry Restaurant and was really impressed by their chicken dish. It was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft and tender inside exactly the right texture. The seasoning was balanced perfectly, enhancing the flavor without overpowering it. It complemented my meal wonderfully and made the whole experience even better.
