It's a cute and very typical small bar. Nice place on the cold winter nights to keep warm and hang out. In the summer the patio is really nice and open and you can even have dogs out on the patio with you. You can tir your bike up really close by so it's pretty easy. Not always the best of food and not always the best selection of beers but it's your local and cheap place nearby! Recommended!
Groovy little neighbourhood gem. Cool tunes, easy-going service. Relatively limited menu, but big servings at reasonable prices. Nice place for a coffee/catch up with a friend(s) as well as to canoodle with a romantic interest. Sun-bathed, western-exposure patio with a lush garden of flowers during the warmer months. Ah...The Gem. When you go to this bar you can't expect anything fancy. The service isn't great.its friendly but you're not going to get a fancy cocktail made with a premium whiskey here. Even if they had the right booze you'd probably have to mix it yourself. The food is pretty good. It's a dive bar with a quirky personality and decent prices.
