I was out for a walk through Leslieville when I spotted a sign for matcha and knew I had to stop in. I am so glad I did! The barista who took my order was incredibly friendly and greeted me with a huge smile. My wife and I adore The Greenwood Cafe!!!! We have both been in the coffee industry and have lived in Leslieville for 10+ years, and was so sad when our old shop closed down. The Greenwood has been a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood and provides such a wonderful community feel and it’s honestly thanks to the baristas.

I cannot talk about this place enough. I needed to kill some time in Toronto and get some studying done, so I searched on TikTok and found this café wasn’t too far. When I came in, they had the cutest space with seating in both the front and back of the café. They have plenty of outlets and the best atmosphere for a day of studying.
