Extremely slow service. Good food and good price. Gross humid atmosphere with dripping wet windows perfect for mold

Delivery of oxtail and rice and peas dinner was just perfect. Oxtail was moist and tender with great flavour. I got festival and plantain sides as well. For beverages, we got cream soda and a coke Zero.

Totally fuming. They have one of the most expensive oxtail and rice dishes for a takeaway. With a reg going for 23dollars and larg for 30 dollars.. an I got bones with a few small pieces of oxtail. An absolute piss take. And very offensive.
This has happened before but this time it was just unbelievable.

Really good spicy beef patties.
However, I got 2 patties from here today, and the size of both was quite different. I wish it was consistent, and I'm not sure if I was short-changed.
This is my favourite local eatery, and I'm surrounded by restaurants. The food here is exactly how my Jamaican mom used to prepare it. There is a wide variety of dishes from jerk chicken to bbq chicken, oxtail, fish and plenty of side dishes. The food is fresh, tasty, healthy, and affordably priced.
Secret-don't tell anyone...if you go in when it's not busy, they will prepare you a customized breakfast. I've been lucky enough to get ackee and saltfish, callaloo, plantain and festival for less than any greasy spoon.
Thank you Ish for your exceptional customer service, flexibility and joyful service.

1.Kudos to the person working solo shift at lunch with the mad rush coming in
2. The roti was awful the outside turned to powder not sure if that’s because they microwave it which I saw - and then because it’s sooo soggy which im not going to complain about sauce BUT the paper they wrapped it in fell apart and I had to pick pieces out. Potatoes were also very hard and not cooked.
I hear the other stuff is good so maybe just avoid the roti
