Today I'd like to shine the light on some excellent customer service from Tom the bartender. On 12 Oct 2024, a semi-challenging customer came in. Tom handled the situation masterfully. He showed awareness of the customer, did not take his eyes off him, remained abreast of the needs of all customers, and was compassionate with the challenging customer. His approach was first rate.

Came here to relax and was not disappointed. I sat on the patio, and although it’s close to the street it’s very scenic. I was served by Adam, who was very nice. The service was fast and the conversation was great.
The nachos were PLENTY for two (in the photo we were only half done. Their beer specials are very good ($7/tallboy) and I had the Blueberry sour, which tasted like a sour cider - I haven’t seen it around and really liked it.

We had a pleasant time in this pub even though we arrived after 9 p.m. to eat. Good draft beers and good dishes (very good haddock, Jamaican-style chicken and excellent sandwich of the day). The staff are welcoming and friendly. And all at a fair price. To do again without hesitation ?
