For whatever reason the bartender said she couldn't serve me because "I looked like I had too many". I just got off work so I guess looking tired means I can't have a beer. Thanks, I'll never return after that. Used to be one of my favorite bars but that's ridiculous - The jokes on you because I'm sober as ever. Don't go here sober guys!

I got the world's fastest Caesar salad and Calamari here. Food was on our table in 7 mins flat. Calamari was so hot on the inside - fairly sure it was fried from a supermarket box or microwaved.

Was in Toronto one week only and came here twice. Just a very cozy friendly and social bar with hockey on screen at bar has an old school feel and welcoming staff and locals alike. Good beer knowledge for my palette to boot. See you again another time.

I almost always have a great experience at Jason George. The service is friendly and they never rush us out.The one exception is the hollandaise sauce. It is SWEET! Hollandaise sauce does not or should not contain sugar!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible washroom. It isn’t perfect but at least they have one. Grab bars are in the wrong place, toilet is too small and too low and a person using a wheelchair cannot use the mirror as it is mounted too high.

I used to frequent The Jason George regularly when I worked around the corner, about a decade ago. We were in the neighborhood tonight and wanted some casual drinks & apps, so we ducked in since it looked familiar, and to get out of the cold. There were a few tables open, and the manager came over and asked us right away if we’d be OK/warm enough sitting at the two-seater right beside the door. We happily obliged, and waited while they wiped it down for us. When we sat down, I input our parking details into the Green P app, for our car outside. It was 6:52pm. The server came by 10 minutes later, and we thought he’d be taking our drink orders, but he said “sorry, I think someone left a bag behind the table”. He reached behind my fiancé’s chair and grabbed a backpack and walked away. I checked the clock on my phone at 7:18pm and we still hadn’t been served at all. I turned around and saw staff chatting at the far end of the bar. I tried to wave someone down to take our order or grab waters since it had been almost half an hour, and after one of the bartenders waved back, but didn’t come over, we got up and left. The table to the left of us got checked on twice, and the table to the right of us got waters, and also their bill while we were there, and got zero attention. Very strange, and not very hospitable! The Corner Place, Duke’s, and Hot House were all within a block of us, and were able to accommodate the two of us for a few rounds of drinks and snacks! I’d recommend them instead, for great and timely service.

Good afterwards to enjoy some local beers.Specifically, I ordered a 7 proof IPA and it was quite strong, but had a good flavor.The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are quite generous.I recommend it.
