Small, burnt, trash. This was a large for about $20. I had low expectations but high hopes that Jerk Spot would be good. My expectations were met. Total garbage, avoid this trash spot.

First time trying jerk chicken and it did not disappoint. The chicken is fresh and juicy. I tried the jerk chicken leg sandwhich with fried plantains and my taste buds exploded. The lady at the counter was very sweet too. Definitely a good place to try for grubs.

The food was ok, expected a bit more oxtail but I guess it’s expensive for them to get so they limit how much they give their customers.

So damn good. First place I ever tried jerk, in 2004 at the original location on Peter street. Thick and juciy. Unique and delicious flavour.Very friendly woman at the front.I have tried probably 20 other places since. Still the best. Pats was a tie for my favourite until they closed. So Jerk Spot is back to the number one spot.

Ordered a curry chicken roti, this was so horrible! It smelled, tasted and looked like DOG FOOD! Except it was not good enough for our dog. This place should be closed. I'll be contacting public health.
One of the best ox tail dishes I have ever tried! I was pleasantly surprised- definitely coming back for more! I can’t wait to try the other dishes if they are as good as their oxtail. Deep flavour, sauce is slightly thick (perfect), ox tail is very very tender.I had a Jamaican Pattie but it’s from a box (Tastee) so I think I’m going to do the home cooked (restaurant cooked) dishes next time. The lady behind the cash was very sweet and very nice. She recommended for me to try the oxtail first (she was right) and then the jerk chicken (have to return for that!).Place is a hole in the wall kind of atmosphere but sometimes it’s these small places that do the best cooking and in this case, their oxtail was divine. In terms of atmosphere, they have a very limited space for eating, take out may be the better way especially if you go during the peak time. There’s a counter with a few bar stools looking out the window for people watching while you eat)

The perfect image of a jerk spot is live. The place is perfect set for hot oxtails and jerk chicken sandwiches. Even my son 1 year old loved the oxtail. The patty is nice and hot. Love them love their vibe and their food.

I got the jerk chicken leg sandwich which someone said was great and only $6.50, well the price went up a lot since that persons review I guess and it was maybe the most tasteless sandwich I’ve ever had. Would never eat here

was craving jerk, and this was around the corner where we were walking by Kensington market... it helps the craving. It's not as flavourful as other jerk we've had, but it's still okSmall, quiet place, pricey in our

Unfortunately we will not be coming back. The curry rotis we got were SOO dry, so much broken bones, and lacked flavour. So many better places in Toronto.. For their prices it should not taste this bad.
