Food quality is meh, the portions are small, and everything is way overpriced. If you want to spend an average of $20-$30 (per meal item) on a small plate of low quality pub food… then this your place! However, I would honestly suggest going anywhere else. Don’t waste your time or money, here.

Looking a little tired and the friday evening crowds have disappeared. Rumours have been swirling for years that it was closing down as part of the Docklands redevelopment, but I was happy to hear they have 5 years on their lease. Got lost cycling there and I've lived in the East End for over 20 years. Hopefully now they have the roads and bike paths in people will rediscover this Toronto landmark. Also as they are now located on an island courtesy of diverting the Don River to it's natural path is it still considered a channel?

If you're around Cherry Beach and feel like a cold pint, with delicious pub food without the downtown crowd and traffic. Staff are very friendly and helpful, lots of room to relax and enjoy the nice weather.
