Looking a little tired and the friday evening crowds have disappeared. Rumours have been swirling for years that it was closing down as part of the Docklands redevelopment, but I was happy to hear they have 5 years on their lease. Got lost cycling there and I've lived in the East End for over 20 years. Hopefully now they have the roads and bike paths in people will rediscover this Toronto landmark. Also as they are now located on an island courtesy of diverting the Don River...
If you're around Cherry Beach and feel like a cold pint, with delicious pub food without the downtown crowd and traffic. Staff are very friendly and helpful, lots of room to relax and enjoy the nice weather.
