Honestly the only problem with this spot is theres very little seating it is such a small spot so thats understandable. This is by far one of the most expensive cafes I've been to in the area and honestly despite it being a good drink it wasn't worth it.

Nice flat white. Hidden gem in the city 👏🏼

The hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve had in Toronto, but it was lukewarm in temperature. Using warmer milk would really elevate it since it’s getting colder out now.

Limited sit-in space but the place is overall pretty cute. They only have to-go cups. The matcha latte was unfortunately one of the worst ones I’ve had :( and my partner thought the coffee was just average.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Toronto. 4.5/5 espresso, nice full bodied caramel. Only point deduction is the espresso feels like its extracted at a few degrees too hot.

I tried their matcha latte, and it was pleasantly creamy without being overly sweet. You can tell they use high-quality matcha powder. I would definitely go back for more.

Excellent coffee, baristas were very knowledgeable, loved the Colombia on the pour over!

Disappointing unfortunately. $8.96 for a "large" mocha is way too much. I requested it to be extra hot and it was lukewarm at best. Their large is pretty much a medium at other coffee shops.

Library Special Coffee: Great Beans, but a Paper Cup Letdown

Library Special Coffee comes highly recommended from its other locations, and I can see why—the beans are top-notch. The pour-over I had was brewed to perfection, with the right ratio and temperature that hit all the right notes.

But here’s the catch: you’re sipping that carefully crafted single-origin pour-over out of a paper cup. It’s like serving a gourmet meal on a paper plate—it just takes away from the experience and mutes some of the flavor.

Seating is also pretty limited, so don’t expect to settle in for a long, cozy stay. Overall, great coffee, but the setting might leave you wanting a bit more.

Disappointing & overpriced - $7.86 for a "large" (about the size of a medium in most other cafes) oat latte that felt watered down with bitter and slightly sour coffee.
