This is my first time going to the Mad Bean and I’m glad I did. I got an iced chai tea that was delicious and found the staff super friendly and the atmosphere really cozy and comfortable. If I’m ever nearby, I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

This place is great, the person that attends is a sweetheart, and their coffee is awesome, thank you!

Great coffee and Americanos. The chocolate peanut butter butter tart is awesome.

Great local coffee shop!! Comfy seating, wonderful employees and quality coffee & fresh pastries for decent prices (they also offer alternative milks for no additional price). which I recommend the cheddar & chive biscuit, especially warmed up with some butter. Eglinton is notoriously hard to keep businesses open on but it’s no wonder they’ve made a home here.

*The sound can reverberate in the store a bit but I just put in some headphones and had no problem after that.

I usually come here on Fridays as I come to this area for work. I usually pick up coffee here.

Its located on Eglinton Ave and its a pretty cozy cafe run by a family. They are always warm and welcoming and super friendly.

They offer a wide range of coffee drinks and bakery items as well as food and breakfast items on their menu.

The cafe itself is really small but pretty cozy with cool vibes. There is a couple of tables and chairs for dine in. The decor is very cool and nostalgic to me. I like the ambience and the whole aroma here.

The coffee is really fresh and high quality, I also like the fact that unlike all franchise cafes, here you can add your own creamer and they also have cinnamon powder.

Overall, I like the place and their coffee and I always stop by if Im in the area.

What a cute coffee shop, with great chill vibe created by owner Lisa / husband who have owned the Mad Bean for 15 yrs.
The latte was done very well with properly textured milk/ microfoam as done in an Italian coffee house.
We had the almond croissant which was fine traditional French style crusty exterior with a soft interior with pasted almond. Highly recommended. I do see why the rating is 4.7 , a must attend if in the area or you are passing by and want to venture into a great coffee shop.

What a wonderful, cozy place. The owner is knowledgeable, kind and generous. So friendly, he truly made my day. I was getting a gift for my partner and I knew nothing as I don’t drink coffee and he took the time to explain everything to me. The environment is quiet and peaceful. Affordable pricing, great product, wonderful staff. 10/10 recommend to try!

Had an early morning meeting in the area. With a little time before start, I wanted to get a tea and a quick bite. I was not really familiar with the area, so a coworker suggested The Mad Bean, and professed about their Americano. I'm not a coffee guy so I knew I wouldn't be able to share that experience. However another coworker who joined me on my Tea run did end up granbing the Americano and he loved it. I ordered an Ear Grey and Blueberry Scone. Which was great. The Earl Grey was great even with only 1 bag, i usually get 2.
