What a cute coffee shop, with great chill vibe created by owner Lisa / husband who have owned the Mad Bean for 15 yrs.
The latte was done very well with properly textured milk/ microfoam as done in an Italian coffee house.
We had the almond croissant which was fine traditional French style crusty exterior with a soft interior with pasted almond. Highly recommended. I do see why the rating is 4.7 , a must attend if in the area or you are passing by and want to venture into a great coffee shop.

Top tier coffee
What a wonderful, cozy place. The owner is knowledgeable, kind and generous. So friendly, he truly made my day. I was getting a gift for my partner and I knew nothing as I don’t drink coffee and he took the time to explain everything to me. The environment is quiet and peaceful. Affordable pricing, great product, wonderful staff. 10/10 recommend to try!

Had an early morning meeting in the area. With a little time before start, I wanted to get a tea and a quick bite. I was not really familiar with the area, so a coworker suggested The Mad Bean, and professed about their Americano. I'm not a coffee guy so I knew I wouldn't be able to share that experience. However another coworker who joined me on my Tea run did end up granbing the Americano and he loved it. I ordered an Ear Grey and Blueberry Scone. Which was great. The Earl Grey was great even with only 1 bag, i usually get 2.

Great place to drop in for a coffee and a pastry. The giant orange chair was the best to give my kid a quick breastfeed and the pastry was pretty super. Coffee was decent.

If you come for a pretty place it's okayish. But don't come to actually enjoy your coffee or pastry. Their chocolate croissant was as hard as a loaf of bread, and had almost no chocolate in it. Disgusting. And the coffee... Which is supposed to be their specialty was basically just water. I took a Cappuccino and it had no taste at all. No creaminess.I will definitely never waste my money here again.
