I don't even think I need to say anything. This was the colour of the $8 matcha. It tasted like sugary milk and had lumps. Did not taste like matcha at all.

I came in for a coffee but needed something to eat. The blueberry scone was phenomenal; light, nicely moist, with blueberries an intrinsic part of the taste. Too often at other cafes the scones are a little dry and heavy. This one had a lovely crunch to the crust with just the right hint of sugar. I’m looking forward to trying more of this cafe’s baking.

My first time visiting this adorable little neighbourhood café and it certainly won't be my last! I enjoyed one of the best scones (made in house!) I believe I've found in Toronto as well as a coffee that was a perfect cup. The Merseyside has a very homey atmosphere and we were served by the friendliest person! I can't wait to introduce more friends to this place , which, by the way is a short walk north of the Dundas West subway station.

I have been to this Cafe 3 or 4 times when picking up/dropping off a car at the nearby Enterprise car rental. Scones and coffee are great, haven't tried anything else but it looks good. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Will definitely be back again next time I rent a car.
