On Saturday night, after my daughter had an unsettling experience with an Uber driver, she ended her trip early and got out at the Mugshot Tavern. From the moment she walked in, the staff treated her with kindness, warmth, and genuine care. They made sure she felt safe and comfortable until I arrived.

The Mugshot Tavern, located near High Park, offers excellent service with friendly staff. This excellent place makes everyone feel welcome and at home, unlike some other nearby spots. Despite some food inconsistencies, like the not-so-crispy chicken and salty trout, the Mugshot burger and wings come highly recommended. There is a nice selection of draft beers, and their Turkey dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas are delicious. A busy but casual spot, it is perfect for a drink after a park visit or a quick meal with efficient service. Recently, visitors have noted the good service, especially for large groups, with servers accommodating separate bills. Though there are not many gluten-free options, those who have tried them, like the gluten-free bun, have felt confident in their orders.
