Egg coffee is a little bit too sweet but the foam is amazingly thick, light, airy, and creamy. Bac xiu is very mild but I would prefer it to have a stronger Vietnamese coffee aroma. Good Viet coffee with reasonable price for the area. Not overly crowded even though the seating is pretty tight.

Delicious coffee and some pretty yummy food as well. Really glad I tried it, will definitely be added to my lunch rotation.
My biggest gripe is with the seating. I really think investing into some better chairs than the flimsy ikea outdoor chairs would improve the customer experience a lot.
The bac xiu coffee has the really strong roasted flavour that’s characteristic of Vietnamese coffee, really delicious. The bahn mi is made with a super crunchy bread as it should be which is pleasantly surprising, most places in the city don’t do the same. It’s a little too sweet for me but a pretty good deal when ordered as a combo.

A very cute cafe with cozy vibes, and generous seating if you just wanted to work there for a few hours. I tried their Salted Phin Coffee and it was amazing. I'll be back to try more of their menu!

Hummmm My oatmeal finally!!! It took me 20 minutes from the hotel but it was worth the walk. Oatmeal with my favorite fruits and good maple syrup!!! Everything is delicious! The matcha latte is killer!!! I recommend you go there!!! Very good service and very helpful!!!

Surprisingly decent and authentic pho, the broth is legit. Missing the fixins (beansprouts etc) but much better than Ginger/Beleaf nearby. Pate chaud is also gud but cookies r wayyy too sweet and dry as well
try the salted coffee.
will not disappoint for sure.

We were looking for a cute, cozy café do some work, and Oats did not disappoint. The combos were a good deal, and the service was absolutely great. 🥰🥰 There are lots of sockets for your laptop.
I got the beef vermicelli with peach iced tea while my friend got a bahn mi combo. Very reasonable price, especially for students.
I would definitely come again!!✨️

Super cute low-key cafe! Great for doing work in a quiet-ish space. Their iced coffee is really good, pretty sweet. The only thing that bothers me is that the tables are really small and a tiny bit uncomfortable -- but I guess that keeps you awake when you're doing work lol.

Awesome little place! Around a weird corner so hard to find. Food 9/10 drinks are so cool! I had this egg drink thing and it was incredible and I've never seen it anywhere else, very unique. Drinks are amazing but some specialty drinks spoil fast so drink quickly. Actual food is not as good though, I had a matcha cookie that was just ok. ambiance 10/10 very quiet, around a corner so off the main street, not too many people usually. tech 8/10 chargers are there, but no free wifi.

Kind of a hidden gem! Good food, great drinks, and good service. Maybe the only drawback is that the tables and chairs are kinda dinky so it's hard to sit and work here for too long.

I've come here many times over my few years living downtown. Despite how demure the exterior is, the interior is clean, spacious, welcoming, and warm, and it's the perfect place to have some of the best coffee in town - it truly feels like each drink is made with love by the staff. They also have a wide variety of meals and snacks - I enjoy their banh mi. Overall it is a wonderful place to rest, read a book, study, or be with friends.

Why is it that 60% of the best spots in this city are tucked away in an alley? 3 of the best coffees I've had in the 416 have been made here (egg coffee & bac xiu are tied for my favourite). The banhmi are EXCEPTIONAL - perfectly fresh and crisp bread, great balance in the fresh-to-pickled veggie ratio, unbelievably tender meat. I've been looking for a go-to ever since the clubhouse closed - pretty sure I've found it. Ask for the house chilli sauce - it's not spicy, it's just delicious. Solid cookies and paté chaud as well.
Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!!!
