Cute affordable Vietnamese cafe. The banh mi and Viet coffee are both phenomenal and very reasonably priced given the area.

Very slow service; they said they were out of Banh Mi's when I tried to order, but watched them make and wrap up about 5. What I did order was not delicious. Cafe is in a great location, but the inside atmosphere is not it. Awkward set up as well.

Cozy spot on a quiet street, but very popular and gets busy! Met a friend here one Saturday around 11am and we were lucky to get the last table as the place was already full. Lots of people there to meet up or do work, but the volume is reasonable despite the tables being quite close to each other. The matcha latte is quite good and the house special banh mi was pretty decent flavour-wise, but not the best I've had in Toronto in terms of value or taste. Friendly staff!

This authentic Vietnamese cafe's menu includes banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich), rice, vermicelli, appetizers, breakfast, and toast. I got the lavender London fog tea latte which was good. I liked the overall vibe of the place but the wooden tables and chairs weren't that comfortable. I'll come back to try one of their Vietnamese drinks to go -- like the bac xiu (Vietnamese-style latte), the coconut coffee, or the egg coffee (egg coffee does take 10 or so minutes to make). The cafe is tucked away on a quiet side street and it was fairly empty when we went on a Monday evening at 4:30 pm.

Very authentic Vietnamese coffees and street food. Strong dark rich coffee. Cosy and quiet place for studying or working with laptops. Some suggestions for the bánh mì, please kindly add more stuffing as the price is kinda higher than other places. Just adding some more meat in the sandwich would make it perfectly well built bánh mì . The pate (liver paste) was excellent which made the sandwiches so delightful and savory. Great decorations and the time of waiting is just very short. This is my favorite cafe for a chilling day. A bonus point was the Christmas gift (

Drinks were really good! My friends and I got the Bac Xiu, Egg Coffee, and Peach Fruit tea and each drink was delicious. The coffee was flavourful and strong and the peach tea was fresh and had a good tea flavour.

Very cute cafe serving vietnamese food and vietnamese coffee. I really liked their bestseller I think it was called Bach Xie or something. Well, I enjoyed it!

Updated review: I still stand by what I said about their egg coffee and Bac Xiu, but the food will no longer be a part of my order. Nevermind on what I said about their banh mi sandwiches... They changed the recipe!!! A few days ago I had a craving for their lemongrass beef as well as their classic banh mi. The lemongrass beef now uses thin beef slices as opposed to the chunky beef pieces they used to have. The seasoning is also different...I don't taste the lemongrass as much anymore. And the classic banh mi used to have a thicker, meatier grilled pork belly slice, but now it's dry and thin as well. RIP to some of the best hot banh mi's I've had :(

I ordered a Lavender London Fog, a Ube cookie and a Smores cookie. The drink was delicious! I'd come back just for that. The cookies were light and airy, similar to a cookie recipe I use to make cookies. I prefer the Smores cookie over the Ube one.The order took between 8-10 minutes to receive. The whole order cost ~$12 after tax and tip. This location appears to specialize in Vietname coffee and Banh Mi. I'll be back to try the Banh Mi.Vegetarian options: Yes there are vegetarian options here for drinks and sweets. I'm unsure if they can make a vegetarian Banh Mi.Parking: There is paid street parking and a paid parking garage at 1033 Bay St.Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly drinks and sweets.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, the store is wheelchair accessible.

If you're a fan of Vietnamese coffee, a visit to this place is an absolute must. Tucked away on a quiet side street, this quaint coffee spot has a handful of outdoor tables and limited indoor seating, typically accommodating 1-2 people per table. It's worth noting that it might not be the best choice for larger groups.Their offerings span a delightful array of drinks and food. You can take your pick from an enticing bakery display or opt for something more substantial like their banh mi sandwiches. For those looking to quench their thirst, there's a small display fridge stocked with bottled drinks and chilled pastries. The staff here are genuinely friendly, ensuring the service is top-notch. With reasonable pricing for both their food and drinks, this has become my go-to spot whenever I'm hankering for a dose of Vietnamese coffee.
