Quintessential Toronto pub: Friendly and knowledgable staff, fantastic and ever-changing selection of local craft on tap. Be forewarned: there's no table service, so you'll be going to the bar for drinks. Also, very limited food service (bags of chips, I think), however they do allow food to be brought in from any of the local take-out places.

There's also often pretty great live music including a monthly Blues jam.
I came here with my partner for a coffee stop as we have just moved into the area from the UK. Had a lovely iced latte and got chatting to the guy who served us and I asked for advice in regard to getting a hospitality job in Toronto! Himself, John & Hayley took time out their days to give me some incredible advice & were honestly the loveliest people. Thank you again for a lovely atmosphere, welcome & coffee! We will definitely be making this our local!
this spot was such a pleasure to spend an afternoon in! i really liked the decor- so much to pique one's interest- and found the ambiance to be very comfortable, which is always a priority when one is visiting a new place alone for the first time! the iced amerciano was quite nice, and i liked the varied selection of alcoholic drinks as well. if i lived in toronto, i could easily see this being a place i'd like to frequent!

the only qualm i had? some...
