10/10 would recommend this venue for a celebration/event! My friends kept telling me how much they liked the place and how friendly the staff was! And of course, the food and drinks are incredible. I hosted a private event here for my birthday and I was so happy with how it turned out! I had booked it last minute (literally 3 days before) and I had 50 guests. Michael was so helpful and communicative, especially considering the last minute booking. It was my first time here but I absolutely loved the space and the drinks tasted great (Shoutout to the lovely & hardworking bartenders!!!). My friends all commented on the space and that it was perfect for the amount of guests I had. I’ll be back here for sure!

I rented out Opium Bar for my husband’s surprise 30th birthday and it was a 10/10 experience. The vibe is exactly what we were looking for—cool, casual, and the mood lighting is spot on. We had about 35 people and the space felt perfect; plenty of room to mingle but still felt intimate. The food was great, and Michael and his staff were incredibly easy to work with and made the planning seamless. If you want a low key, quality food, low-stress venue in Toronto, this is it.

We went here to celebrate a 30th bday this Fall and they were super accommodating for our group of 20, cocktails and snacks were so delish and the vibe was exactly right. Definitely recommend this spot for cocktails and for partial bookings for smaller group sizes. Location is also perfect. Go here!

I hosted a joint 30th birthday party at The Opium Bar and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Michael made the planning process so easy and was incredibly flexible with any changes we wanted to make along the way, which took so much stress out of hosting.
All of the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged with our guests all night. The food was amazing - everyone was raving about it. We also wanted to have the Jays game playing, which they set up on their projector for us, while still keeping great music going throughout the night.
The atmosphere was perfect, the service was seamless, and every guest had an amazing time. Highly recommend The Opium Bar for your next event - they truly helped make our celebration unforgettable!
