Very Disappointed – Would Not Recommend
I hired Pasta King for live cooking at a party of 35 guests and even ordered extra food (40 servings in total), explaining that the extras were to cover late-night snacks. They agreed to pack any leftovers if I provided trays.
But to my surprise — and embarrassment in front of my guests — there wasn’t even enough food for the 35 people present. A few guests didn’t get to eat at all. When the service wrapped up, they packed a tiny amount in one tray (not even enough for a single person), then left without a word. No follow-up, no accountability.
When I brought this up, the coordinator was defensive and blamed the guests for taking too much food — which simply wasn’t true. Everyone had modest portions; the issue was that the food quantity just didn’t match what was promised.
In the past, I’ve used Fusion by T and Chef Murali for live cooking couple of times . Their service was consistently exceptional — generous portions, professional teams, and a smooth experience every time.
In reply to their reply below: just to clarify, my review is strictly about the main dinner service, not the BBQ station or short ribs — that’s a separate issue I won’t get into here. I understand their point about live stations and self-serve settings, but the quantity simply did not align with what was promised or expected. Regardless of portion size or guest behavior, there should have been enough for 35 people at minimum — and that unfortunately didn’t happen.
To quote their message to me, they said clearly “so altogether that’s 40 servings”. It’s clear that we did not have 40 plates worth of pasta and Kothu, altogether.
Unfortunately, Pasta King fell far short of that standard. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them. They lack courtesy and customer service management skills as well.

The live kothu roti station was a total showstopper — the sizzling sounds, mouthwatering aromas, and incredible flavours had everyone coming back for seconds (and thirds!). And the pasta? Absolutely amazing. Every bite was rich, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were so generous, and the variety was perfect for our guests.

We ordered pasta king's live pasta station, mango shake and cesar salad for our baby shower and it was a hit! All my guests, from kids to older adults, thoroughly enjoyed the food. The spice levels were perfect and the pasta flavours were absolutely divine. I particularly enjoyed the mango shake, and so did all my guests!They were exceptionally kind, accommodating and had great communication with us throughout the entire process of ordering, communicating set-up, expectations, etc. They were very efficient with set up and clean up. I would highly recommend booking them for your events!

Pasta was under cooked deluxe , husband is the one cooking while wife takes orders home base business they cook in the basement , the funnel cake station was the biggest waste of money in life rather would of spent 2x more on better deserts by professional resturant / chefs . Sutharmina Balachardran who took the order said everything would be good but turned out they couldn’t keep up with the promise over promised under delivered funnel cake station operated by her younger sister ( Sukayna Balachardan and her husband Praveen Arul ) Sutharminas older brother ( Suthan Balachardran who helps Sukayna at events just started funnel cake station wasn’t soft guest all were complaining how they don’t know how to cook funeral cakes were greasy it was disgusting . Talked to them about the inconvenience and horrible service they try to offer $100 off on $1500 order , greedy for money asked them for receipt they said they only take cash or e transfer they don’t any taxes to CRAConsumers be aware multiple places to buy high quality food for average price .Looks like their own families write google reviews to get the ratings which is pathetic , tried them out due to hype but turns out it was nightmare I would give 0/5 but google doesn’t have option !

First of all let me say that the Pasta King lunch was very good . Unfortunately I ordered their funnel cake as well which did not live up to the hype or standard . The waffle was hard and chewy.I’ve had funnel cake quite a few times in my life and that was not it . I paid for 65 guests so it was a lot of money . I should have got the desert table I wanted but made the sacrifice .Most of our guests did not finish it. It was humiliating for us as we love to serve the best . They offered a 10% discount but I refused it so I can leave this review here.
I highly recommend Pasta King for any special occasion! We recently hired them for our Birthday party and their live station was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations.?????
