Food wasn't good at all. Rice tasted like plastic. Salmon was burnt. Ordere were wrong. Very loud. Was a birthday and told the waiter but was ignored. Won't be coming again.
Our reservation was promptly addressed when we arrived and presented ourselves. As we were invitingly ushered to our cubicle , which by the by was appropriately adorned in the colours of valentine, we were pleasantly impressed by the quality of noise reduction the alcove offered. Our host Ger displayed the courtesy that represented your boasts. The food, especially, mirrored your exquisite cuisine menus, and tasted divinely delectable Kudos to the manager and staff of the Yorkdale “Pickle Barrel.”
My family from the USA had a great time!! Dinner was enjoyable and your Vegan option was a pleasant surprise. Thanks to GER your service was Appreciated!!
Had a reservation but they seemed to overbook so had to wait. Why do a reservation is they aren't going to honor it!
It was a lovely evening and the food was great. Service was little slow, but that was not surprising since it was Valentines day. I definitely would go back.
My dinner wasn't great - it was good but I found it overpriced. Chicken Parm - I usually love it - too much pasta.
We went to the restaurant for early dinner and it was very good. We ordered a chicken burger and the Fiesta bowl with shrimps. They were both very tasty and the service was excellent.
Luke was awesome! His service was exceptional, If you go to Pickel Barrel, hope you get Luke, I will be coming back.

My wife and I went for breakfast recently to the Yorkdale pickle barrel. We were very impressed with both the food and the service, partially our server Stuart. He had a great sense of humor. And offered some helpful recommendations about the menu. We will happily return to this location.

We was there for my Birthday Celebration with my Family. Once we sit there a waiter just asked about what we want not even looking for the menu so I told him to give us a moment, Then he came back with the service water then asked us again I told him give us a moment then not even 1 minutes he asked again So we order the steak set, I we told him medium well for the steak he give us a well done steak and it's so rubbery bland in total a garbage sorry but that is the food taste like even the salad soup and the calamari all that we have in the restaurant is garbage. No wonder its weekend but no dinner there. I will not recommend the Pickle barrel to anyone. SORRY but that how we experienced.

Waited so long to make our order. Food took almost an hour to come. The messed up the way we liked the steak cooked.
Honestly some of the worst service I have ever had. We had a reservation for 7:15. We showed up at 7:10 and when I asked for our table the hostess goes “I have to see if a table is available as we're really busy”. Excuse me? So what was the point of reserving a table? When we were seated, our server (I believe his name was Javier) took forever to get our orders in. We'd order drinks and get the drinks 20 minutes later. 4 of us ordered side salads that never came with our mains and we had to ask for it. One person ordered a 10oz steak, mid rare and received a 7oz steak done mid well, and it had to be sent back. I have friends who don't drink and only wanted water refills which never came. When it came time for the cheques, we asked for apps to be split 6 ways (as we were 6 people) and then everyone pay for what they ordered. He split the bill 5 ways, including apps and put my order and my friends order together. When we asked the server to fix our bill, he went and came back with the apps still split 5 ways. When I asked why he said “it's your birthday, your friends should pay for the apps”. I HATED that. Who are you to assume my friends should pay for my food? They got me gifts so they owed me nothing else. Half of us are students and he shouldn't have assumed that my friends would be able to pay for me, nor did I want them to. When I pushed back he said “well I would have to ring it up again though”. So? Do your job? My friends were kind enough to let it go as he took forever to get our bills and many of them had a long commute home. I honestly felt ashamed that I had my birthday dinner here. The food was mid but the service was TRASH. I have a feeling that the only reason they are still in business is because they are right beside the Cheesecake Factory and get business from people who don't want to wait for a table there.
