2 out of 4 dishes came cold. It took 40 minutes for the food to come. We only ordered entrees so it was 40 minutes for entrees. Our waiter did not come to check in on us after he took our order. We had to ask for refills and when we did, he brought us wrong drinks so we had excess drinks at our table. I also felt that it was rude that he looked at the machine when I was applying the tip. I think generally he should have looked away when I was paying so that the tip would not feel “forced”. I felt pressured to tip a certain amount when I probably would have tipped lower due to our experience. First and Last time at this location.
Extremely slow service. Had to call the host several times to place one order. No one was following ul. We didnt get water unless we asked for it. Food was okay nothing exceptional for the amount we paid. Mentioned it was our anniversary they did nothing special whereas most restaurants provide a free dessert or a small discount.
The food was not the best, it needs to be better I haven't been to this location in a while and to have returned it wasn't the best and for a birthday celebration
Pickle Barrel is always an excellent place to meet up with friends. Friendly servers, good food and atmosphere.
It took very long, 15 minutes to be seated, then another 45 minutes to get drinks, and when dinner was served they missed one person's order and it took another 20 minutes to bring their food. Overall it was disappointing.
Women's washrooms not very clean!! Garbages overflowing and toilets not flushed and toilet paper on the floor!
Over the years I have been to some pretty shady places that had questionable customer service..: but that was kind of to be expected considering the typical clientele at said spots. I arrived here at 5:50pm.., a single person looking to experience a new to me restaurant. Introducing the pickle barrel.. price point was crazy good. Reservations easy to make. One person for 5:45 pm. Took a minute to find the space, once in waitress was attentive, I ordered an appy and a half priced bottle of wine. Keep in mind it was just me and when I arrived there was no one here in a HUGE space. I also ordered the holiday 3 course dinner... an appy of butternut squash soup, a main of apple chicken and for desert apple blossom. Again, it's just ME!!! They bring out the calamari AND the soup...no big deal. Calamari sucked ballz, timid temp and rubbery as hell..:whatever, calamari is an art that not everyone can master. They also brought the soup at the same time. No big deal, it's just me, no one else here so I have time right?! 🤷🏽♀️ Nope, half way through the Calamari they bring my Main... ask them to keep it under the lamp, no problem... 5 minutes later the main arrives... still not done the calamari.... Or the soup Finish the appies and ask them for a container so I can re heat my food when I get home since it's cold/ Great, no prob Keep in mind I got here at 5:50pm it is now 7:51 No desert and no waitress to even ask for it During this terrible dinner service a table of 6 arrived and a table of 3. I know full well a table of 6 scores more dollars than a table for 1 but now I will never come back... so was it worth it? Not for me 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏽♀️ A complete waste of time! Note: I ended up having to go speak to the hostess to let her know my concerns, get my desert and my bill. It was at this point that the original waitress asked me if I needed anything... I told her someone else was getting my bill. *hostess offered a discount ,wasn't necessary but appreciated.
Our experience at Pickle Barrel was disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet it took about 15–20 minutes before our server came to check on us and get our order. The floor on the table beside us still had food debris probably from previous guests. One dish was incorrect— I didn't mention it because I didn't want the kitchen to remake it, even though it wasn't my preference. One of our steaks (ordered medium) had no juices left, and the onion rings/fries that were supposed to come with it only arrived after we followed up, and they were soggy. When I politely gave feedback, the server responded defensively in our shared language, saying something along the lines of “that's why I asked earlier,” which felt dismissive. At the end, after we tipped based on the service we received, she walked past and made a comment like “wow, amazing.” We can't say for certain it was directed at us, but it felt that way in the moment and was very unprofessional. The issues were with the service at Pickle Barrel itself, not with OpenTable. We chose Pickle Barrel for a birthday celebration, but the overall service and experience were disappointing.
Urgently need to increase the number of the staff. Very long line at the entrance and very few people trying to serve lots of people.
It was a good experience (as usual), our server was great and the food was delicious. We were so glad they brought back the meatloaf, it was just as good as I remember. 10/10 experience

Servir was ok. Asked for a quiet table andxwas seat next time a noisy group of 7 men. Fries were not fresh at all. I was with a friend for her bday did not want to complain
Server was inattentive and cold. Prioritized people she knew that were dining beside us but also studying(?)? One steak request to be cooked medium but ended up well done and dry. We decided not to bring it up but opted to leave feedback here instead. On the reservation, we indicated one of us celebrating a birthday. No slice of cake or anything. Not going to bother at this location moving forward.
My brother and I were there to have dinner and watch a baseball playoff game. It was a large bar with several rooms. We were seated in the secondary room where several groups were already having dinner. The server was very good and accommodating. I had a harvest special which included delicious butternut squash soup, some beef steak (well done) and sautéed mushrooms with vegetables including mashed potatoes. The main course was served on a metal tray which I had to transfer to the accompanying plate. I would have preferred that it was already on the plate because the food wasn't as hot as I like it by the time I got to start eating. The meat was good. But there wasn't nearly enough mashed potatoes. My brother had one of the bowls which was good. The "apply blossom" (kind of like a little apple crumble) was delicious. The reason that I'm giving a medium review is more due to the atmosphere. None of the other groups were paying attention to the game. Only one person at another table seemed to be paying attention. I was surprised how it affected my enjoyment of the action. The Jays ended up losing. But the server was a true Jays fan and on top of that did his best to make us happy. So I can recommend dining here--especially with a date. But if you want to combine it with a rowdy sport event-- you'll need to bring your own fans.
Food was delicious and came quickly. Great deal and really nice atmosphere, the host was kind and professional. Our waitress, Lenny, greeted us quickly and made sure to check on and refill our drinks periodically. I would return for sure!
