Disappointed in my last visit. Went for the wings on wing night Wednesday, they must have switched their wings to oven baked wings. Wings were saugy, no crisp ti them whats so ever. Beers tasted like cleaner.. I asked the server if they recently cleaned the lines.. tried 2 that tasted like chemicals.

We made a reservation for hockey night in Canada thinking that the game would be shown with sound (Maple Leafs vs Bruins). Most TVs didn’t even have the game on (football instead), and we were told that a DJ was booked for that evening instead. I would suggest to not advertise that this is the place to go for game nights if you’re not even planning on showing the game. Also, the DJ didn’t even show up. Lastly, food was quite mediocre. Overall a very disappointing experience. We wouldn’t go back.

It's a good bar with a pleasant ambience. It's happening but still cozy. Our server was very good and cheerful. I really appreciate his service. Also, they have very good options during the happy hours. However, it's a long walk with a lots of stairs

got charged hst when there is a tax break on restaurant food and drinks. Got charged for doubles and singles.

Some of my house fries had a very questionable taste. They tasted like when potatoes are going bad. Also, service was very slow. My food came and I waited 5 minutes to get cutlery. What place serves a dish without bringing cutlery first or together!? By the time I got a fork, the Classic Benny was cold. The cold bread stuck in my throat and there was no water offered either. What place doesn't ask if the client wants water or something as soon and the client is seated!? Then I got sauce on my beard and no server around to ask for a napkin. I had to walk around all "saucy" looking for a napkin. Terrible service for a place that serves expensive "cheap pub food".

It sad how a big pub like this is being run by a manager whose hospitality skills are horrible. I’ve been on the receiving end of this twice already.
The recent incident started with- when the server just handed me the menu and told me to look for the table myself. Although it was four of us, I had to sit on a table for two as there was no other table which was open and after 15 mins when the 4p table opened and I asked her to move me to the open one she just bluntly refused it and said that it was reserved. I let that slide but no one showed up for a good 20-25 mins and when they did it was just 2 people who could have sat in my table for 4.
Towards the end they charged me $11 as tips and when asked why is it a pre set amount? The server replied by saying thats because I came to watch the game.
I have been there plenty of times but never been charged a pre set amount that I was forced to pay.

All in all, it’s been two horrible experiences and I wouldn’t want others to experience the same so choose another pub, you are welcome.

I travelled to Toronto for the Eras tour. This was some of the worst service I have ever had at a Pint. My server was rude and lacked any manners. Live music was great! Shout out to Jammers waffle house!

The bar is alright. Went there for trivia and it seemed pretty fair especially regarding checking for phones. But fries were 10 dollars! and this is the 20 dollars wings. Up to you to decide if the price is worth the portions size.

We were in town for the Eras tour and stopped in while our daughters were at the show, staff could not have been more amazing! They set up a space for us to watch a live stream of the show we found and even put it on the bar TVs for us. Others come by and joined us too! Drinks, food and service were amazing, thank you for making our night great! 🫶

If you buy lots of beers, you seem to get better service or complain to your server. We did neither and walked away unsatisfied

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I reserved a table for two the day before El Clasico, and my reservation was confirmed. I arrived 20 minutes early after a 1.5-hour drive, only to find a long line of people, many without reservations. Despite my reservation, I was told to wait in line with everyone else. After some time, the staff informed us that they were at full capacity and couldn’t accommodate us. When I mentioned my reservation, the old woman at the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissively telling me to “wait outside” with no apology or consideration.

To make matters worse, I noticed them letting in people who arrived after us because they claimed they had friends already inside. If they could accommodate them, why couldn’t they honor a confirmed reservation for two? When I approached the security guard to ask about this, he rudely brushed me off, saying, “That’s a management problem; go talk to them.”

The lack of organization and professionalism from both the front desk and security was frustrating. The entire experience felt unfair and disrespectful.

If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give. I’ll never be back for any future games.
