Came here with my husband for a quick brunch date. Service was excellent, food was delicious. Couldn’t ask for better. Love this local gem in our hood.

We've now been here dozens of time and the food is overall very good and a great price. What jumped out this time wasn't the food but the great service. For the first time ever I had to send my meal back (eggs benny back as the sauce had too much vinegar).
When something like that happens, it all comes down to how the staff reacts. And Rebecca was fantastic. She apologized, found a solution and thanked me for my feedback.. That is true professionalism and I will be back soon.

Friendly service, beautiful art on the walls, and the most wonderful fresh Hollandaise.

Great little sandwich shop. Consistent, and high quality.

Great atmosphere though I wish there was more background sound or music because I could hear others conversations and vice versa.

Service is excellent!

Egg breakfast sandwich was subpar, lacked real kick/flavour. Wish the English muffin was toasted and needed a sauce or aioli.

Roast beef sandwich is highly recommended.

Butternut squash soup wasn’t very special.

Overall, great healthy options here for a warm nice meal!

The Porch Light was the perfect find for our lazy Sunday. The brunch menu was diverse and delicious, the coffee was great, and the service was friendly and warm. The vibe was very similar to European cafes and you know the place is something when they know their regular customers by name. Always heartwarming and reassuring. We can’t wait to return and indulge in both the lunch and dinner menu!

Where do I begin? The customer service was kind and frequent, the atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious. The cup of tea I had was also fantastic. Definitely want to come and try their dinner menu one day, I came for their lunch where I had a Roast Beef Sandwich and my partner had a Pulled Chicken Sandwich, both of which were delectable. The water jug even said "Love" on it.

Came in for a quick brunch and we were not disappointed. The waiting staff were prompt, respected that we had to be in and out in an hour. Our food came quickly and the presentation was beautiful. The quality of food was great, the omelette was delicious, home fried crispy and their house salad dressing was the best I've ever tasted, my mom and I both agreed that it was perfect. We will definitely be back and next time, we'll schedule more time ro stay for a dessert. What a great neighborhood gem!

I recently visited the porch light for brunch with a group, and was sadly disappointed by the experience.I hardly ever give less than 4 stars to any place but unfortunately this spot really missed the mark on brunch service. It took 20 minutes for our group to be greeted, and service was incredibly slow throughout the meal. We repeatedly needed to ask for napkins, water refills, and plates/cups to be cleared from the table. As someone who has worked many hospitality jobs, I understand being understaffed etc, and that may have been the case; however, the staff didn’t seem to know their own menu options very well, the menu pricing didn’t accurately reflect the cost of the items (extra charges for ingredients already listed in the meal???) and the portions were very small.I will say their coffee was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely for a casual visit. I wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast dining but maybe for a simple coffee & pastry purchase.
