The Mexican street fries are amazing. The service is friendly and the view has gotta be worth a million dollars. You won't be disappointed with your trip out!

We decided to swing into Elliston with the kids for lunch we are visiting from the west coast, we ordered a green salad, a spaghetti dinner and a fisherman's platter. The food took a very long hour and a half to arrive, and was not worth the wait the fisherman's platter is definatley not worth 24.99 the staff were great very pleasant but not somsure we will go out of our way to eat here again if we ever visit Newfoundland again.

Lack luster service at best. We said when we went in we were in a rush. We even ordered our main meal at same time as our drinks to speed things along. We waited 45 minutes for lunch. People came after us and for their order and then left before we even had our meal. When I brought up my concern she said the others had sandwiches. I said you knew I was in a rush. Had I known my order would take so long I would have changed it. We had a three hour drive and this meal made us late. I had giving bad reviews of local companies but this was unnecessary. Can’t say I’ll be back there. This is nothing about shortness of staff but more about paying attention to your customers.

The is one of the most delightful stopovers we had in Newfoundland. The staff embody the hospitality, friendliness, kindness of the Newfoundland nature. We felt we were family after 2 minutes of interaction.

In one corner, they have many wonderful souvenirs some of which were handmade by the locals. We each bought something after we had eaten a bite.

We had the pea soup, seafood chowder and fisherman’s brews. We also had the partridge berry cheesecake which was quite good. Food we selected was ok, not bad, not fantastic but good enough to satisfy us after a rainy and cold downpour at Elliston Island. I believe the other items on the menu were way better, we probably didn’t select the right items.

We also bought a bottle of partridge berry jam. It was excellent. They have a whole cabinet of different jams made locally, it was difficult to choose and resist buying more than one.

Very friendly staff ! We are vegetarians but they were able to accommodate us :) Food takes a little while to be ready, but the view outside is nice to look at while you wait.

Really enjoyed the puffin cafe. The blueberry lemonade was delicious. It got busy so we waited a bit for our food, but not a big deal. The fish cakes were yummy. The staff were very friendly. London Fog was excellent!

Waited far to long for our food. The place got busy and emptied and we where still waiting for our food. We ordered the fisherman's platter and the fish and chips. The fish was very good. The scallops and shrimp where over cooked. The atmosphere and Waitress are amazing. The food is nothing to write home about....
