Denied service because I had an American ID. Have multiple forms of ID and a photo of a passport. Quiet Wednesday night and guy couldn’t get off his high horse for a 6 person group. We will take our 200$ tab elsewhere.

I was genuinely disappointed by my recent experience at The Quail. Upon arrival, I was not greeted warmly or even with a simple smile. The waiter serving me handled my drink by the rim of the glass, which felt unhygienic and careless. What struck me most, however, was the contrast in treatment. Shortly after I arrived, a white couple entered and were welcomed with a smile and noticeably better service.
When I politely asked the waiter about the disparity in treatment, I was told to leave—as if I had done something wrong simply by speaking up. This response was both surprising and upsetting. I expected a higher standard of professionalism and basic courtesy from a place with such a reputation.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend The Quail and hope they take this feedback seriously to ensure more consistent and respectful service for all guests.

Had a strange and what I would consider rude experience trying to make a reservation here. I've walked by this place throughout spring and thought it would be a nice place for a group of six of us to meet at. Called once to confirm they take reservations and had very friendly service, but when I called to actually make the reservation I did not go through with it because the responses were rude and confusing.

Great experience! I had a couple pints of Guinness and the double smash burger. Guinness tasted great, and it was very well poured. The burger was excellent. Fries were on point. Bartender was dope, changed the soccer and put the golf on for me. Very good service. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Great experience - excellent service! I booked an area of the pub, very last minute, for a largish group, to surprise my husband on a milestone birthday. Thanks so much to the staff at the Quail for the thoughtful, warm and efficient service. Allison looked after our group impeccably (hers is the only name I got, but everyone who helped us was lovely), so I didn’t have to think about anything but enjoying the party. The food was great, the drinks came quickly, and she managed our request to have separate bills smoothly. Perfect night, highly recommend. Also thanks to Adrian and another manager who made booking easy.
