Honestly, I don't know who would put the girl at the front. She needs to have a better attitude because she's should be at back not at the front. Face matches the attitude. It's the one with the sad looking disgusted face at all times...if you go there you won't miss it even if they move her from the front.
Food is alright but really catered for a demographic that they treat better and don't know any better. I'm a Westender and trust me any spot hits better than this place at a $5 hole in the wall with the worst customer service. Garbage staff and overpriced!
The staff was kind, I went there because of Rihanna’s music video, but the food was just OK

Oxtail was salty and only given 5 pieces. Burnt rice grains covered heavily with the salty gravy. For $30 this dinner was disappointing

This is the one and only original Real Jerk Restaurant located in the south east side of Toronto. And was once not too far from me when I was living in the area.
The food is amazing and very authentic and fresh and I have tried a few dishes over the years as this was one if my go to and hangout spots when in the mood for real authentic Jamaican cuisine. The staff have always been very customer focused and very down to earth. For me, it's a very fun atmosphere to enjoy the music while eating and hanging out with friends and family.
Also, note that this is the original Jamaican Restaurant that Rhianna and Drake did the video for Work.

One of a king gem! Kind of place that feels like home cooked away from home. From the soups to the full on meals and in house beer, wine and zero %options! We catered for 15 people and everyone loved the quality of the jerk taste. After eating we all promised to back to the “real” real jerk to karaoke the late night away!

I was disappointed with my take away meal today. I ordered a quarter chicken jerk dinner. The service was quick and very nice. My issue was I requested dark meat and still received, white meat which I found dry. I asked for oxtail gravy and only half of the rice had gravy. The coleslaw only had cabbage and lacked dept of flavour. I have had the coleslaw many times and that was not it. I like to support local businesses but I think this was not worth $20.00.

10/10 for everything I ordered and portions were perfect. I will be back and bring my friends.
Such delectable food. This is my third or forth time there. Literally every dish is delicious. My favourite is the oxtail as well as the jerk Alfredo, I think it was called.
Even the drinks are yummy. Two thumbs up
Found this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was very good and the portions were great. The staff was helpful and friendly.
I was very disappointed with my experience at The Real Jerk. The service was unacceptable. One of the servers ( who takes orders ) was extremely rude — she looked at customers with clear disdain and made us feel unwelcome. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there. This kind of attitude has no place in a restaurant that claims to offer good service. I won’t be coming back
Jerk chicken was very dry. Roti shell was good. Curry and potatoes didn’t have the best flavor.
