Loved the vibe great live music and nice patio
Had a beer on their patio a few weeks ago. The wait staff are attentive, always finding the time to ask if we need refills but after a couple hours it also began to feel like server had interrupted many conversations.
They don’t allow smoking (including vapes) on the patio but since it’s in the street on Yonge people stand around on the street or simply passing by might be smoking in which case the smoke and smell might reach you, as was the case for my table.

We had late lunch here and had a really good time. Patio seating is a great way to enjoy this weather!
Food were delicious. Our server was friendly and gave exceptional service. We had cocktails and tequila shots.
Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

Our visit to the Rose and Crown was delightful with respect to seating, food, and our server. The patio allowed for adequate space in-between tables and a bonus that we could bring our dogs. The Nachos with chilli were out of this world and my son had the best ribs he's had in a long while. Our server Emma always had a smile and was prompt, polite and informed. An enjoyable experience from start to end.

I’ve been to this place twice. The first time, there was karaoke, which was really cool, and the service was awesome. But the second time was different. There was a lovely band playing, and the atmosphere was perfect. However, the service was terrible, probably because it was really crowded.
We ordered Keith, but they served us different beer without asking wether we wanted it or not. They also served the food without napkins or cutlery. We asked for some ranch sauce, but they just ignored us. The server, Rachel, was a nice lady, but she was really busy and short-handed. It wasn’t her fault by any means.
Despite having to eat my putin with bare hands, the overall experience was good.

LOVE the white sangria here.
The vibes and social atmosphere are great ✨️ . But the food is terrible. Fries were soggy. Chicken tenders tasted like they came out of a frozen box. McDonalds is better an option.
It's better to come here for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

A traditional English pub in midtown.
The Crown is a great option for those looking to watch sports and chat, and for those looking to listen to good music throughout the night.
The pub is located 1 block from the Eglinton subway station and the bus terminal. For those planning on coming by car, there are paid parking lots on the street and private parking lots in the shopping mall and in the neighborhood buildings.
They have a good menu of snacks, dishes and appetizers, as well as a great variety of drinks and beers. For those who don't drink alcohol, they also have non-alcoholic products. They don't have a menu of seasonal drinks for the evening.
A tip for those who like it, order the charcuterie, it's simply sensational.
The service is great, and in the afternoon it's very fast. For the evening, don't demand so much, because the place gets very busy and the service ends up taking longer.
Unfortunately, the pub does not have the facilities to accommodate disabled customers: there are stairs at the entrance, doors do not have an automatic system, bathrooms are not adapted, and other facilities that help the day-to-day life of those with disabilities.
I really like the atmosphere and I think it is worth a visit - especially in spring and summer when the patios are also open.

I will forever love the Rose. This is the icon of a great Canadian pub. Meditative during the day and buzzing at night - the Rose is what a neighbourhood pub should be and I hope it never dies.

I visited this pub a couple of days ago to meet someone. Upon arrival, I wasn't aware that they follow a first-come, first-serve seating system, so I initially waited for someone to seat me. After a while, I asked the bartender about a table for two, and she informed me of the self-seating policy. Once I found a table (though one of the chairs was blocked by a pillar) we waited for another table to free up.
After that, the experience improved. The waitress was attentive, and both drinks and food arrived quickly without much wait. The overall atmosphere was great, and the live music added to the experience. Despite the initial confusion, it turned out to be a good visit!
