I've had a lot of Guinness in my life and this was one of the nicest Guinnesses I've had in Toronto. It was lovely and light... poured correctly. Perfect way to wind down after word.
Absolutely loved my experience at The Rose & Crown on Eglinton! The place has a very nice and cozy atmosphereâperfect for relaxing and enjoying a great time. The location is ideal, especially if youâre looking for a spot to watch the game with friends. Big screens, good vibes, and an energetic crowd make it even better.
What really stood out was the staffâsuper friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if youâre looking for a comfortable pub with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Will definitely be back! đ»đ

These two older guys hog the pool table saying the winner stays on while the new people on a list have to pay for the pool table while they play against the person who paid. No one told us about this rule when we signed our names on the list while we just wanted to play a casual game with our friends. These two guys who spend all their time playing pool face amateurs just wanting to have fun and donât let them play one round of pool with their friends. They constantly hog the table making newbies pay for it and then threaten to make you pay hundreds just to take the table for one game from them even when you promise them they can have the table after. They call it fair just because they it gives them more time to play off of the money of people who are new to the bar.

Place used to be better, I personally wanted to go there for nye because I like it there but it was awful. Blonde waitress at nye ignored our table all night, I could barely get a drink or food because she would walk right past us and serve other tables. She failed to give other people their own menus and they would come to our table and take ours because as she did not serve us, we had no drinks and it looked like we were leaving. We were thirsty most of the night with server ignoring us and people coming to our table to bother our date all night, and I decided to leave and spend midnight somewhere else. At some point I had to ask for water because I asked for a drink and our table was forgotten after that, when she appeared again i shook my arms in the air. She would not come to us even to be asked for the bill. We were forced to sit there until she decided to remember us, after midnight. I had to shake my arms in the air to get her to see me. But still, the woman only spoke or looked to the man on the table. She would come to the table and not look me in the face, I spoke to her to try and ask for my drink myself and did not get a response as she was only speaking to him. By the end of the night she kneeled down very close to his personal space, right in front of him as he was going to pay the bill⊠he turned to his side and speaking to me, his date, saying he could pay cash or card. She was kneeling down in front of him with arms reaching bill/his wallet and she got in the conversation saying she âloves cashâ. Maybe she should apply to work at different kinds of places where she can kneel down in front of men and ask for cash, because that was crazy. And worse, she got up quick and left the table again before he could even pay, and forced us to sit there longer. He apologized to me when she left. By the way, when we left he told me he had planned a casual but fun proposal for nye, he had my ring in his pocket. He felt he could not do it there. Other people coming to our table to get chairs and menus because she cant do her job ruined the moment for him. We are frustrated and my damn ring is back in the closet waiting for the next moment. The rose could have been our special bar. Instead, I had to take a picture of the menu cause random people would come to our table from 10 to 10 minutes to take it. The classless cash thirsty server ruined our night.
The visit was completed without delays or complications.

The atmosphere and live music were great. Beer selection was okay, and costs $11.50 per beer.
However the food was horrible. They didn't even try to make it appetizing. My wrap came out at room temperature, and my buddy's food was 3 puny potato skins with sour cream for something like $15.
Service was alright. Pretty average experience.
