Very nice bar in a great location. The staff was friendly, and the vintage décor added a really nice touch. The place is spacious with plenty of room to relax.
We ordered the pita with hummus platter, and it was amazing , the dips were full of flavour and truly stood out.
A must-visit!

Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. We walked by hoping we could catch the World Series game and the staff at the front aggressively shouted at us that the place was full. The message could have been delivered nicely. When we told him he was being rude he doubled down. It’s a shame because I live in the neighborhood and used to like this place. Won’t be back. Go to the Duke across the street instead.

Very rude staff. Very rude, hostile security. I watched as security threatened to physically assault people if they asked one more time about being let inside. They were not drunk, rude, or even persistent. I had friends inside saving me a seat and I was not allowed in because they were “at capacity”. Watched as he let in a couple other folks. 5 mins later the owner let in a group of her friends. Have been coming for many years here as a local. Hosted birthdays and group events here. Disappointed at what I experienced tonight and definitely won’t be coming back.

This pub is perfect for PaintNite and live music; they even have rotating weekly specials and a dessert bar!

Had a wonderful night out with friends at The Rose and Crown! They have a great selection of liquor and beers, and the food was surprisingly good — I especially recommend trying their specials. The blue cheese and prosciutto burger was absolutely delicious.
Service could be a little smoother, but given how busy it gets, it wasn’t a big issue. The atmosphere more than makes up for it — we went on a Saturday and really enjoyed the live music. Just a tip: make a reservation if you’re planning to go on a weekend, because the place fills up quickly.
Overall, a fun and lively spot for a night out — I’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere, it was alive and tense, while everyone laughing, drinking, and playing pool. A strongly suggest you to go there, just need 5 bucks plus a coin for pool, I forgot to say the beer was great too

I really like their design! I don't know the name of the guy who was there, but I want to thank him because he was very energetic and had a lot of positive vibes. I tried the Space Invader IPA and the Goose Island IPA, and both were good.

Beware the tip order is now right to left so the highest tip % is on the left. This is just scummy behaviour designed to get you to mindlessly hit the left button and tip 22%.

Amazing live music every weekend
Had lunch while on a work trip. Had the best service and food I ever could’ve asked for. The bartender asked my name and made me feel like a regular even though this was my first time here. Anytime I’m back in Toronto for work, I’ll be coming here for a great meal and a great experience.

Most of my visits to the Rose and Crown are for the Wednesday night trivia. Service and atmosphere is great and I'm a big fan of the fries and curry sauce.
