This is definitely one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the city. All the main staples that one could ask for in one spot. Curry, roti, jerk chicken, doubles, pholourie, patties etc...

The only thing bad i can say is the parking is stupidly horrendous...especially if u come at a busy lunch hr or early dinner...other than that its a banger! Give it a try

August 26 around 12:30PM I came in to place a takeout lunch order. I told the cashier 1 jerk chicken roti, 1 chicken double, and 1 bottle of water. I watched the screen pointed at me and she keyed in 2 jerk chicken rotis and thought she would remove one but she did not say anything. Before confirming method of payment, she repeated the order back to me as 1 of everything and told me I owed $41 and turned the debit machine to me. I immediately pointed out that is wrong and basic math would indicate the order total must be under $30 even after tax. She initially argued with me and said no then I verbally said the prices of each item out loud, added them out loud to her and asked her how she got $41. I said you added the jerk chicken roti twice at the beginning and didn't remove it. Only then did she remove it from the order and changed my order total to $26. She didn't say sorry. She was also under the weather running her hand and arm under her nose due to sniffles then later packed my order with the same hands. Very concerning, disappointing, and frustrating. I have been coming here a long time so I knew to immediately be vigilant about this but for someone who might be new they easily could have paid and the cashier wouldn't have said anything. I don't know if she is new to working there or was being deliberately hidden but this is why it is imperative management should hire someone who knows the menu and prices inside and out and knows how to operate the point of sale system. Food was excellent always.

The jerk chicken was overcooked and lacked seasoning, which was disappointing for a Caribbean restaurant. The service was slow as well

Long time customer however last visit roti was not very good. It was soggy with too much gravy. Once we got home we had to dismantle it yo eat. Disappointed 😞

A Scarborough classic! I've been going here for decades for the goat roti and doubles and the quality of the food has always been great! I never dine in, but the ladies at the counter are always friendly!
