The Roy is definitely my new local, since moving into the neighbourhood. The food is consistently good, with a solid menu. The staff are lovely and attentive.
Highly recommend!!
My local and I love their Guinness on a dark and cold evening.

Stopped in last night for a beer and a bite to eat,
Definitely will not be back
The bartender was the rudest person I’ve encountered, I will take my money elsewhere.
Roy used to be one of my favourite hangout, now it’s a very uncomfortable place to be thanks to this guy.

It was a quiet evening when I went here for dinner, so there were few customers in the bar. Service was quick and very friendly. I had the steak & mushroom pie and it was good. They have a good selection of local kraft beer and lots of good Imports. The decoration is very Irish and it is a comfortable place overall.

No nonsense Irish pub. A must have in any hood?
Such a great place! Great ambiance and great food. Highly recommended whether you just want a pint or are down for a solid meal with friends. I had the pulled pork sandwich this evening and it was amazing. Support your local watering hole!
I’ve been coming to the Roy for 15 years and will come for 15 more. Best owner, staff, food, vibe… a true neighbourhood pub with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff and locals. They pull a perfect pint with pleasure. Highly recommended!
A true Irishman pub with wings night, multiple tasty beers on tap and a cozy atmosphere. Food and drink are extremely fair priced, staff are incredibly efficient and a lovely fireplace tops off the very cool vibe. 2 TV's gor sports, booths, bigger booths for a large party on a very convenient corner. Grab a lager, wings, cheer on your team and enjoy a great east end classic!

Honestly it's become a favourite spot in leslieville im hesitant writing this cause I don't want it to blow up but I gotta support local and keep this place alive. Cold pints, great service, wings are better than crown and dragon. This is the spot if you're looking for a pint and a vibe. If this place was on a mountain I'd hike it daily just to sit in a booth and imagine Kilkenny himself is comin over the horizon
Went super late and did not regret! The service was fantastic, food was spectacular and the vibes were cozy.
Was there Monday May 19th for lunch on the patio and the server was amazing. Give her a raise!!!
