The Salad House is one of those old school places that you pray never changes a single thing because it’s so perfect. After all these years, the chef dressing the salad is the same, the nonnas dicing up tomatoes in the back is the same, the dispassionate lady at the cashier is the same… culminating in what remains the best chicken shawarma in the city.
We went to Salad House on a co-worker’s recommendation—and honestly, if you know me, you’d know salad is never my go-to meal. But I trust his taste buds, so I gave it a shot.
