I’m a tea drinker and will have an occasional espresso, but not today. So I stopped in at The Stockyards Grind Espresso Bar for a decaf tea and ended up with a delicious Harney & Sons Cinnamon served in an antique cup and spoon like I have at home from my Grandmother’s Antique Store in Kingston - Allie’s Antiques. A real gem of a place. If you really love coffee, or want a small intimate place that's intentionally geared for chatting & connecting (not laptop coworking) visit & enjoy. Sean has a clear vision and is expertly executing on it. One of my favourite places I've been since coming to the west end after decades in the east
The barista was extremely welcoming and friendly and kindly explained the menu and different types of roasts they have.
I went with an oat latte (they only have oat as the non dairy option) and it was delicious!
I love they are a laptop free zone, which is rare to find in Toronto.
Heads up they only take cash or transfer!
