This is a Firkin I've attended numerous times in the past. I went on my birthday today to reminiscent and enjoy a beer or two and possibly some food. I recognize the the waitress who has been there for several years. I ordered a pint of beer which came quickly I finished it and waited for her to come back around. Finally she came back around and I ordered a bottle of beer. I finished it and after waiting longer than what should have been necessary, as the bar was empty I left my table and went to the bar to pay my bill. My overall experience was disappointing and I felt showed very poor service. After spending over $20 dollars for a pint and bottle of beer the Swan/Firkin needs to reviews the pricing and staff. I will not go back ever again.!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I happened to come here 2 times this week and the service from the staff was actually surprisingly good. Super attentive, kind and sociable in the right amount.
This place has been around for a while and it always felt like a normal pub experience, but i'm starting to find it quite reliable and almost like my go to place when i'm in the area.
The patio is nice if you can get a seat.

An all-round great pub! Good food (firkin burger and truffle fries are amazing), good friendly staff, and a very nice bar and patio.
However, this isn’t a 5-star review because of one annoying thing… The amount of bees and wasps on the upper patio is UNREAL.
My wife and I have been coming to the swan for the past few years, and this is a frequent issue. I love the style and design of your guys patio, it’s super nice… but no other patio that I’ve been to in the city compares in the amount of bees you guys have. I know it not something you can have 100% control over, I’m willing to bet if you get rid of those flower plots you have on the upper patio (the ones in my picture), the number of bees will reduce. They are super attracted to those flowers, and then soon as food shows up, the bees/wasps go nuts we’re just flailing our arms around for our entire dinner trying to keep them away.
This pub is great in every other aspect, but guys, if you could please do something about those bees, that would make this a perfect patio.

Gotta chase the kid to get a beer and the place was empty. He left my glass empty twice for at least 15 min each time on a 30 degree summer night. At the end I said…. If I can’t get a beer give me the bill I’ll go somewhere else for a beer.

But! I really hate it when you order a burger and they charge you 2 bucks for jalapeños. For me it’s a normal topping. We paid 4 bucks for cheese a jalapeño. I just find these things to be little traps that are not nice to customers.

I have been coming to this establishment for years now and I am so happy to say the the customer service is just on a next level 5 stars everytime!, long story short I love this place and will always come back.
