Wanted some good pub style fish and chips, dropped in here and was very surprised. Good portions, great seasoned fries. I almost said no to dessert but I'm glad I didn't as the freshly made homemade pecan pie/butter tart with phyllo pastry crust and scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with a bit of chocolate was decadent.

we used to come here for years. the food was always good. not anymore. we went there on a Tuesday night. the food was absolutely horrible. what happened ? did the cook take a day off? we are never going back. this was just too much. all 3 dishes were absolutely horrible.

I've been there before, its the Old Ben Wicks, with the nice outside basement patio on Parliament. It is a nice place to break for beer with company. The food is excellent pub-ish. It manages to keep all of the good and add a local friendly feel..

Met a friend here for beer on a Friday afternoon. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxing. They even have a 'Dog Wall' where they display framed photos of guests dogs, and they asked me if I wanted to bring a photo of my dog; I will bring one next time I visit.
Had a few cocktails late evening. The service was delightful and friendly!

Very friendly staff. Great drinks. Super dog friendly. Patio is down a few steps from the street making it nice and private. The Steak and Stilton Tart was really good. Rich crust with lots of meat. Can't go wrong with the burger.

Tiffany and Sean are such amazing, accommodating and caring owners that will quite literally go out of there way to ensure their guests have a smooth and personable experience. We have never observed owners taking such a vested interest in their guests and how they can be of service. We had a small intimate wedding ceremony during COVID and they were extremely helpful going above and beyond to help us have a successful event - making it seamless and memorable. It would be an understatement to say that the wedding wouldn't happen without their support. The food and drinks are another prominent factor for this place - I have never seen our guests ravage through food so quickly. Would definitely recommend for the experience, quality warmth one would receive!
