This place appears to be a bit of a neighbourhood pub, but not really a place I would want to hang out. I came here to watch the fights, but the experience was peppered with blasts of really loud and bad karaoke from the other side of the glass anytime the door was opened and the least lively atmosphere I've experienced in years. I didn't order any food after my friend told me his was not good, and that seemed to piss off our server. Not sure exactly what her issue was, but it felt like she was deliberately trying to make us uncomfortable. Whether it was telling us that we couldn't sit at a 6-person table in a restaurant that never even hit 25% capacity, then giving the 4-person booth we had asked for to another group who came in after us (we were told it wasn't available), coming by every 5 minutes to bug us to order more, or when I had pulled up a chair to have a proper view of the TV, taking it away when I went to the washroom and almost guarding it so I couldn't take it again when I was back, then opening the glass doors as soon as the main event finished so we would have to listen to that horrible karaoke at concert-level volume. I don't know how this business even survives, but I won't be supporting it again.

Sort of a hidden gem, although being at the corner of Donlands and O'Connor does make it a spectacle. Spontaneous drop in for lunch and had a superb toasted western/w fries on the patio. I'd visit again. ;>

Absolutely loved the fries and the people!! It's a super cute sports bar with occasional events like karaoke night!
I only give it 4 stars because my meal was quite strange, I ordered a Caesar wrap and it was drenched in sauce. It was more sauce than salad somehow. It was actively dripping out on the plate, and then even more when I was eating it. But the fries were amazing, and my partner's fish and chips were sooooo good and such a big piece of fish!
I'd definitely go back, I just wouldn't get the caesar wrap sadly

Very slow service, way way way way overpriced. Not worth the money not worth the trip. Decor and seating and vibe not pleasant. Server went to the bathroom did not wash her hands. $18 for a double vodka cranberry in a short glass. One of us got violently ill from the food. 2 people $160 for wings, jalapeño poppers and 4 drinks. Nothing good about the place except the flavor of the wings - 2 lbs - $40

As more than one person mentioned, the old lady with dark eye shadows working here is so rude and her attitude belongs in garbage. I'm being very nice with this description.

I finally stopped into The Wally T & G after passing it for 3 years. I was lucky 🍀 and hit the slow pace. Perfect! The wings and cold Cool was on point. Decided to return again my 2nd born son. I had another ice cold Cool beer from Sauga. Son had a Sweet Shirley (virgin). Now the true wing test begins! The whisky something bbq sauce got the table vote. When your 12 year old don’t complain you know you gotta a winner 🏆. Wings passed his taste test!
Plenty of TVs to watch sports! NFL Saturday and Hockey maintained our attention.
Honourable Mention: Our service was impeccable. The beautiful soul bartender | Host was the best. She’s Laid back, Cordial , Welcoming and provided top notch service!

I've been going to this establishment for years prior but only returned lately while walking home. I have now returned to the Wally because of the management and staff and the atmosphere. It reminds me of the TV series Cheers. They have a nice menu and large portioned tasty meals.
