This bar does not follow any noise by-laws. Music, terrible karaoke, and screaming voices pollute the neighbourhood well into the early hours of the morning. 11 pm by law means nothing. Profit is first. Community last. No other bar in the Village is anyway near as disrespectful. Go support any other bar.

Great staff, great vibes and a great spicy margarita

We went for Drag Bingo and $1 wings (*every Wednesday!!). The bingo was free/no cover charge, the food was tasty; good sized portions and great price. And the wonderful thing about tonight was - even though it seems that The Well has a group of loyal regulars - we weren’t made to feel like outsiders. It was fun, Messy Margaret was engaging and entertaining and knew how to keep the banter going. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Excellent service and safe atmosphere

Unwelcoming. As previous reviews suggest, poor service to BIPOC. They automatically charge tip on your bill without asking.

Really enjoyed my lunch at The Well, and I’ll definitely be back to try the vegan friendly version of the Nachos Supreme. Lots of good options for bar food that you can’t always get “veganized” at other places.

Friday night debating on a venue to have drinks with the BOYS, and finally decided on one my favourite bars in Toronto , the one only, THE WELL, the minute we were greeted with one of staff members we were right away seated, while waiting for the drinks, we were enjoying the drag show while being served with are drinks along with the food, which was delicious, THANK YOU for staff along with the kitchen staff for making a magical night ❤️

Enjoyed a few happy hour drinks on Sunday between 5-7pm. Sat at the bar and kept to myself. First time at this establishment and likely won’t be my last.

#Bram the "Bartender", his t-shirt has the name on it, I'm not sure if it is his name.

1- charged the tip in out 2 bills, I didn't care the 1st time, the second time he ignored me, traying to look busy, even it wasn't a busy night, I don't care if I have to leave tip or not, I know, and I usually do... but it is so IRRESPECTFUL than someone working that's side of the bar does by himself or for his Balls.
2. I asked the first time, if he knows how to make a mocktail, whichever, I didn't care, it was for my guest, how can be possible that someone working in his place doesn't how to make at least 1.

3.- I ordered a corona beer, he served me a sol beer, and opened in front of my eyes, I said I ordered corona, and he just told me it is the same... sorry, but if you don't know how to make a mocktail, you didn't tell me that you don't have corona. Don't assume that I like Sol Beer, wichvit is not the same beer...

In the beginning, it was ok, but people like him are how the places get a really bad reputation, like customers it is a bad experience. And even we went there for the event, for ourselves we are not planning to coming back to this kind of places...

If you are planning to visit this place, please check the bartenders, the menu, and the prices...

Visited Toronto and while looking for a place to have some drinks, we were intrigued by the Karaoke and the friendly vibes coming from within.

Decided to give it a chance, and turned into one the better bar experiences I have had.

The Manager Rob was beyond friendly, courteous and an overall amazing host.

Drinks were affordable and food was delicious (Nacho Platter), the service was phenomenal!

As a straight male, the atmosphere was enjoyable and I felt welcomed, while making many unforgettable memories.

Whenever I am in Toronto for a night, I will be making sure I visit here!

What incredible, immaculate vibes. The staff and patrons were friendly, welcoming and incredibly fun. Food and drinks are beyond reasonable and the karaoke was impressive at times, but just fun and enjoyable the rest of the time. A really wonderful and fun spot to spend your night!

The "Supervisor " is 1 of the most ignorant servers that i have met.
I zero tipped the whole bill and will continue to do so when ever he is on shift!

I will admit it was Pride Day. The service was lack lustre but they were not busy. Not sure if the server was new or not. But the chef came out to talk with us a bit. We had the french toast (to die for) and the Brisket Hash (nothing better in Toronto). Considering the limitations of that tiny kitchen this chef is bang on with flavors and quality of food presented.
