Came with a large group on a Tuesday evening. They do not allow splitting the bill, at least on this occasion, which is understandable, but they did not tell us this until much later in the evening, which caused some confusion/chaos now that people had to track what they ordered themselves. Food is okay, better than expected for a pub but doesn’t knock it out of the park. Prices very reasonable though.

We visited The Sheaf Tavern, after it feature on the reel of Toronto's best pubs. Warm and friendly service came to greet us out of it.
We had come by around 5 PM, and the ambiance was already so inviting. Food too was equally affordable with dishes starting from 5 or 6 CAD. The food was even better than we had been expecting, while a selection of beers was pretty great, with enough variability to suit different tastes.
Bands started playing there later in the evening, and pretty soon, it grew jammed with enthusiastic people. The atmosphere was just great to be around. It was well worth a visit and highly commendable for any night out in Toronto.

Honestly. It’s old and the people are strangely viced. The men on the table accross from me told me to die and the waitress laughed. It’s honestly a horrible place. ❤️ don’t ever come here.

It was always interesting to visit this place, since I live nearby and see a lot of people in the evening, but I didn't get anything interesting, tacos was too very mediocre, the beer was like everywhere , but what was horrifying was a lot of shards of broken glass on the sofas from different glasses, dirty, Well, apparently no one wants clean and hasn't cleaned it for at least a week, the toilet is terrible, all the doors have holes punched , install metal!

This was a great place to visit it was the first time we've gone to this Pub bar the servers were very friendly it was quite busy so we did not get served immediately but we understood this. The food was excellent the beer selection was vast, the place needs a little bit of cleaning that's the only negative about our visit, otherwise it was well worth the visit

I had always wanted to check out Toronto oldest pub. It's exactly what you'd expect it to be, a gritty old pub, and I love it! It's a really spacious interior, so it's good for groups or people who want to sit at the bar and watch sports. A nice patio as well, right in the heart of downtown. The food was surprisingly good as well! It has a little something for everyone. I came with a couple of people for lunch and a drink. We were the only ones on the patio while a game was on, but the service was still great. Sometimes you get forgotten out there, but our server was wonderful.
