The service was great, attentive, all of it.
Where this place made my day, was the food. The lamb ribs were one of the best bites of food I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, everything else was fantastic, but the lamb ribs BLEW my mind.

The steak tartare tasted like a cheeseburger, that was insane. Top 3 tartare’s I’ve ever eaten for sure. The branzino was great, but the steak frites were even better. Our waiter didn’t come back to take our drink order and they came right when we’re just finishing up the meal, I think they got tied up with something, no big deal. Great date spot!

By far one of my fave spots in the city I almost wanted to gatekeep! The service, vibe, and food are always top notch - great wine options and can never go wrong with their Tuesday steak special (though their bavette steak available daily is amazing too). Highly recommend the crudo with cara cara oranges, super fresh and balanced! Can’t wait to be back again!

Went here for a birthday and had an INCREDIBLE time!!! The food here is incredible! If they've got the smoked trout dip on the menu when you go, it's a must have! Everything arrived with perfect pacing for the meal, and our glasses were never empty. Everything we tried was delicious and the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. A must go in the East End!!!

The food was pretty good (highly recommend the trout dip and the fish crudo), service was friendly and professional, but the wine selection was a bit of a let down for a wine bar, though they did let us sample a few before committing to a glass, which was nice.

My girlfriend and I came here for a date night. We were not disappointed. The waitress was friendly and explained the menu to us. We ordered a few different plates to try and were amazed by how delicious the food was.
We would come here again. Food and service did not disappoint.

Hands down the best restaurant I have been to this year. Every dish was crafted with care. Delish, tender, seasoned to perfection. The smoked trout dip, pork chop with apple compote, squash and mushrooms were amazing. The staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The bar seats surprisingly were extremely comfortable and well spaced out. Can’t wait to go back again.

Absolute worst experience. We showed up early for our reservation and they were rushing food at us like drinking water from a fire house.
We asked to slow things down and we were told by “Cody” who I assume was a manger that they had a “ timing standard” to keep too.
What about a dinning experience standard ???
This Cody guy was one of the most arrogant humans I have ever met. Total buffoon and not the representative that I would want running my business and interacting with people.
We stopped our remaining food order, wine order etc and left to eat somewhere else after the 3 appetizers were served and Cody’s incredible response to us when we asked to “slow the food down” incredible!!!
Slapstick comedy like - on how the food was being served. I have told everyone DON’T BOTHER EATING AT THE WOOD OWL. Not worth it.
