I've been The Works' loyal customer, visiting at least once a month (various locations in GTA) for at least 7 years. They have the best burgers.
That said, this specific location, is getting "less good" over the years (to be fair, I recently moved back to the area after a 2-year break from regularly visiting this location).
First and foremost, customer service is consistently inconsistent. Every time I come it looks like they have a new face...

Listen. If you have ever been asked "how much" or "how do you want your bacon" question asked and the answer was a firm steady "YES", then close the comments section and go inside this place.

They cook. And I mean COOK. Don't want to look at the menu? Fine - just name the toppings. Fancy for predefined options? Oh boy, you are in for a treat. They have surely done their womework. Leave alone that you can modify any of the predefined...

Went in on a Monday night. Excellent burger. Bar drinks were on a surprise in-house special rate. Service was attentive and actually gracious from the young woman serving tables. I reduced 1 star only because of the lighting which was so glaring as to be uncomfortable.
