The music is wayyyy too loud. Not sure why they would keep it like that when you can’t hear the person next to you while yelling. It’s sad because I love the food and the prices are so good. Don’t come here if you have noise sensory issues.

Disappointed in size,looks and choices on menu. Fries are terrible, DO NOT ORDER POUTINE! Waitress was not a good server. When asked of what was good, she couldn't say, or definitely wasn't honest. Too pricey for nothing.

Very disappointed that the bouncer seemed to be letting certain people in over others. There were ppl waiting to get in, but then ppl would walk in off the street without greeting the hostess, they'd half hug the bouncer then walk right in. When I asked the hostess why they got in she said she didn't know. And when I approached the bouncer as to why, he claimed he didn't understand what I was talking about. So we left. And I won't be going back.

The Crazy Canuck was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had! The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and wonderful to talk to and the atmosphere of the place is great! Will definitely come back here!
Pretty bad service. We waited for 16 minutes without being attended to, and eventually left because we were completely ignored. Maybe it was because we’re Latino and were speaking Spanish among ourselves.

I’m not one to write a bad review due to one experience - especially about a franchise I love + frequent often. However, the way my friends and I were treated last night has not sat right with me, and I think overall this location would benefit from hearing our experience.
We came for game 7 and waited for about an hour before we ended up at the bar due to the seats being taken. We were purchasing multiple drinks between 5 of us, and kept to ourselves majority of the night. The issues started when one of my friends was told that they would not be served due to him not tipping enough. The reason he didn’t tip the last transaction, is because we had noticed our drinks went up $10.00 from the previous bills - all of which can be proven through our transactions. After that point, my boyfriend was then refused service for the same reason. My boyfriend is a quick drinker, and will purchase about 3-5 drinks within an hour. Starting a tab wasn’t an option - and so he had not tipped on the LAST transaction due to him already spending about $25.00 in tips within the first hour - AND our drinks costing more than before. After that point, I had tried ordering a drink for him - to which she denied, and said that she would make me a drink, but not him because she is “losing money every time he buys a drink, and has been doing this ‘all night’ “- please keep in mind, we were there for only 1 hour, and he had tipped $25.00 already…… She cut off all beer options due to the men 'possibly drinking them' which is insane. After that point, I tried explaining the situation to the man who was also working at the bar - and he spoke to her 4 separate times trying to ask/telll her to make us drinks - to which she refused every time. After the man and I spoke, she stopped serving all of us entirely.
Considering bartenders are now making minimum wage and not server salary - and we had been continuously purchasing and tipping on drinks between 5 people… I think it is pretty insane that we would be denied service due to two transactions out of 10+ not being tipped. Tips are tips - she was honestly pretty rude/short with us the entire night before all of this happened, our drinks were charged extra for no reason, I watched her pour a single shot and then charge as a double - we should not be EXPECTED to tip 20% on service that we view as bad - and even more so, should not be denied service without any communication beforehand about there being an issue. We had no problem tipping - we understood it was a busy night, and that servers make majority of their money from tips. We all have worked within the service industry before, we are respectful people, and truthfully none of us has ever experienced service like this anywhere. At the end of the night, I tried to get her attention to ask for water, and she blatantly looked and ignored me - which I’m pretty sure is illegal lol.
We stayed there the whole game (4+ hours), and she lost an incredible amount of money for the business by simply being petty and holding a grudge that we didn’t even know was there lol. We spent around $450.00 between all of us by the time we were denied - I’ll play devils advocate and say all but $50 was tipped at 18-20% . $72+ in tips for one (1) hour of serving us a few drinks just from 5 people - yet we were cut off for not tipping enough, and then treated like a piece of dirt. She ultimately was the one who lost ALL the money that she claimed she was going to lose by serving us.
I definitely do not recommend this location unless you want to risk having a straight up 0/10 experience lol. We will not be coming back.
PS. If you require a tip on every single transaction, then don’t leave a ‘no tip’ option lol.

Man, this place is so affordable and everything is tasty. They have the best grilled cheese and soup ever and its like $10....really good poutine $7 or so....strong island iced tea. Triple for like $14. Crazy good especially for being on yonge with an upper patio....
