Very oily, expensive taste is ok. Tried ghee podi masala dosa. Not worth the price

Really great taste and variety for breakfast/brunch. It's a cute chill cafe with great price range as well. We had Harman as our server and she was really good as well. Must try

The dosa was thick and so flavourful, we will definitely come back for it! Harman was attentive and made sure we enjoyed our food. :)

We had a great breakfast at Thindi Cafe! The ghee podi dosa and chilli cheese toast are must haves! Harman was very sweet and checked in during our meal.

Lovely little place. The food was good. Ambiance was okay too. I’ve rated the service as 3 as it was self service so, it’s more of a NA.

I went for breakfast this morning at a South Indian café and absolutely loved the experience. Ordered the Podi Masala Dosa and a cup of filter coffee — both were budget-friendly and super delicious. The coffee was strong, aromatic, and the perfect wake-up kick. The dosa had a unique twist — unlike the usual thin and crispy version, this one was thick, soft, and incredibly flavorful. A must-try spot for morning breakfasts or casual brunch dates. Highly recommended!

I tried masala dosa and it was really good. It was a different style than I am used to. It was thick but so nicely cooked that it had a nice crunch despite the thickness.

Expected a lot more out of this South Indian cafe. Great concept, mediocre execution. The food has no flavour. For the price they are charging they should be serving the best quality food.

I’ve been on the hunt for an authentic Bengaluru-style dosa in Toronto for a long time, and honestly, nothing ever really hit the spot—until now. I tried the dosa and medu vada here, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I went home and wept out of sheer emotional damage from how much I had missed this taste.

The dosa was everything it should be: crisp, slightly thicc, and packed with flavor. The sambar and chutney were on point too—comforting, balanced, and exactly the kind of pairing you’d expect back home. The medu vada was fresh and satisfying, not the dense version you often find around.

If you’re craving a true Bengaluru-style dosa experience in Toronto, Thindi Cafe is the spot. Highly recommend.

Thindi Cafe is such a lovely spot! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making the whole experience so pleasant.
The masala dosa and ghee podi dosa were absolutely delicious, and the masala chai was perfectly spiced and comforting. They even surprised me with a free cookie, which was such a sweet touch ✨✨
Everything from the service to the food made my visit so enjoyable definitely a place I’d love to return to
