My go to place for the best French patisserie in town. Come early if you want to meet Mr Thobors himself who visits from Mount pleasant location.Parking: Cafe located just before Eglington and Allen, it could get a little busy in here.

This bakery is among the top authentic French bakeries in Toronto. Returning for their fresh bread, croissants, and pastries is always a delightful experience.

French bakery only in name, execrable hygiene, the baker licks his fingers and sometimes forgets to wash his hands before preparations nothing has the taste of France whether it be pastries or the dishes only the tradition could resemble something something of French flavor. Very stingy about any establishment that I advise against if you want to taste real French pastries and in terms of preparations the quantities in no way remind me of France like the quiches which are sometimes even among our friends the manufacturers we also see that sometimes they make drop things that will give customers food just a wipe and it's good for them a place that I especially do not recommend to the French or to people wanting to taste true French quality

Super cute coffee shop at Bathurst and Eglinton, just a quick walk away from the bus. Pretty good prices and a really nice ambiance inside. The staff are friendly and there was a lot of selection for the drinks, as well as modification options like different types of milk (oat, soy, etc...) and different types of sweeteners (honey, Splenda, sugar, etc...). I would definitely go back and try something to eat, because it was a really fun spot!

Authentic french brunch and pastries. I highly recommend the croque madame for brunch. Coffee is perfect too (not over toasted like in so many cafés in Toronto). Amazing service as well, lovely staff ✨

First time here and had a really good sandwich on a FRESH baguette! My friend had a pastry which she said was excellent.

Nothing special. Pastries are decent but the service is slow, especially for the drinks.

Nice bakery cafe. They have a lot of bread and pastry options. Lots of comfy seating inside and a small patio. The day I went in I was told that their espresso machine was not working. Also, the wait time was rather long even though there were not too many customers. I think they could have benefited from having 1 more staff working. The almond croissant was excellent. The blueberry tart looked better than it tasted, but was still good. ?Overall, it was a good first experience, but I would have liked to have a coffee with my pastry.
Thorbors is an incredible find on Eglington!! The atmosphere is cozy and food delicious. I recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the bustling city to have a coffee and pastry. The hard working staff are extremely friendly and give the place a uniqueness that I haven’t found in other Cafe’s. 10/10 and a place you need to check out!

Some of the most beautiful (and delicious) chocolates that I've ever seen.

This was a really disappointing purchase!! The cafe is lovely in terms of ambience. However, looks are deceiving! I chose a box of twelve assorted chocolate truffles and a chocolate heart filled truffle. The common theme is that the while chocolates looked delicious and were packaged prettily, they are not good quality chocolate. It honestly tasted no different than a cheap box of chocolates you get a grocery store. But - it costs a fortune! Save your money and go elsewhere, there are much better places to get great chocolate in Toronto if you want to spend $65!!!
