I recently visited Tim Hortons, a brand that's widely recognized as a Canadian icon. I was intrigued by their reputation and felt compelled to give it a try.
I ordered an espresso and a matcha croissant - both were good, though not extraordinary. The espresso had a decent flavor, and the croissant was fresh, but nothing that truly stood out. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly, making it a pleasant overall experience.
While I wouldn't say it was exceptional, Tim Hortons is a solid choice if you're looking for a reliable coffee stop.

Love how they’ve modernized this Tim Hortons. Their service is tremendous amongst SO MANY locations. My family always prefers to visit Starbucks due to their hospitality. But if every location meets to this location’s standards. Tim Horton’s reputation would skyrocket.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my entire life.
I frequent this location on several occasions after work in the area before my commute home to satisfy my sweet cravings before supper. The staff have always been very friendly and professional, and the restaurant offers an interesting selection of food/beverages. However, today was by far one of the most unexpectedly unpleasant experiences I've ever had in terms of this location's atmosphere. I never write reviews but this incident was just extremely uncomfortable and made me and my colleague feel unwelcomed and somewhat ostracized.
Me and my colleague had just purchased our pastries and headed outside to eat on the patio. There were several seats available. Although, one of them was apparently occupied by a man and a woman who stood OUTSIDE of the patio fence on the sidewalk conversing together whilst placing their belongings on the designated tables for customers. When we approached the table to sit down, the woman suddenly began yelling at us that it was their table, which made no sense as no one (besides the woman's MK handbag) was occupying one of the three empty chairs at the aforementioned table. My colleague attempted to remove one of the chairs as it belonged to another table set nearby that was empty and had only one chair so we could go sit down and enjoy our pastries in peace but this woman proceeded to yell at us again and told us it was their chair and to put it back. Thus, we removed ourselves from the situation and approached another seemingly empty table, which just had an old newspaper and empty coffee cup. There were two tables present and an elderly woman was sitting between them; she faced towards her left, away from the coffee cup table. Again, me and my colleague attempted to sit down but then this elderly woman suddenly grabbed and yanked away the chair I was about to sit down in, and then she began shouting at us that we were not allowed to sit there, that it was her table, and that her friend had just gone to the washroom and will be back in a bit to claim her seat. This truly felt very frustrating but nonetheless we decided to go eat inside the restaurant. At one point, one of the elderly ladies pushed her walker and stood parallel to the window where we were sitting inside and glared at us for a bit, then proceeded to walk away. After finishing our pastries and exiting the restaurant, we noticed those tables from earlier were STILL unoccupied by the elderly lady, the woman, and the man; they again were glaring at us while we walked past towards the subway station. I don't know if this is an appropriate detail to mention but we are both asian and the people we encountered were caucasian. This situation truly felt extremely upsetting for some reason as I just wanted to enjoy my pastry after work and catch some sunlight with my colleague in solitude, yet was instead met with an absolutely ridiculous experience as a customer.
Perhaps I should have brought this up to an employee, however, they appeared very busy at the time and I did not want to bother them. I would suggest there to be signage posted that the patio area are for designated customers only (?) but I also don't know if that strategy appears too brash as a suggestion. Honestly, I don't know if I will ever come back to this location in the future, but I know I will no longer be frequenting it with colleagues nor friends right now due to this experience. Again, the hostile atmosphere was NOT due to any of the workers who were actually extremely pleasant, it was rather due to other 'customers' disrespect within the restaurant's vicinity. This is NOT how Torontonians should act towards each other!

Actually I went to your store to have my coffee. I like to do the survey so I asked the front crew for the survey paper. She was unknown and she politely asked the another crew member in the front i believe he was the incharge their who has a brown black complexion and was fat and tall. I asked for him as well but first time I saw the rude behaviour at Tim Hortons. He was so rude to me and denied saying i won't give you. I felt awkward their in front of other people in the queue as he was in angry mood.
I request the management people to please look after your team members. I will never come to your store because of the one time rude behaviour and other customers can be the next. Thanks for rude behaviour appreciated!!
