For almost 8 years, I have been living near; I am here every day, and now it's my favourite spot, but unfortunately, I am moving out of this neighbourhood to somewhere that is very far away and I can't come back over here.

That old woman, who is your employee, is very rude.
To the customer, I don't have the patience to explain something to you.
So who should we ask about the misunderstanding? The pizza hut employee next door?
If you don't have the patience to serve customers, go play with your grandchild.

Every table was basically empty but every table had rubbish/food left on them. The floor had rubbish or toilet paper all over the place, the bathrooms clearly hadnāt been cleaned in a while with muddy water over the floor and semi-dried pee all over the toilet. The staff also felt like chatting instead of serving promptly. Yuck.
I visited Tim Hortons this afternoon and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and I noticed the supervisor was polite and greeted every customer with a smile. Even though the line looked long at first, all the cashiers were working hard and it moved quickly. By the time I got to the counter, I was served by Maria (I believe sheās a supervisor), and she was amazing. I was deciding between a hot or cold beverage, and she helped me choose by introducing me to the new drinks and pastries. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, especially the donuts and pastries, and was extremely helpful throughout. Excellent serviceāthank you, Maria, and the whole team!

If customer service were an Olympic sport, Maria would be competing for last place ā and winning effortlessly. I had the pleasure (or should I say punishment) of being served by her recently, and it felt like my mere existence was an inconvenience to her. Eye contact? Not a chance. Basic politeness? Missing in action.
I stood right there, practically waving a flag for attention, but apparently acknowledging customers is optional here. When I finally did get her attention, her tone suggested she was doing me a monumental favor by speaking at all.
If the goal was to make customers feel unwelcome, mission accomplished. Iāll happily give my business to a place where courtesy isnāt treated like an optional upgrade.
The lady named Maria needs a crash course in basic manners and customer service, maybe even a personality upgrade while sheās at it. In customer service, politeness and a pleasant personality are the bare minimum, and she missed both by a mile. Hopefully, management can send her to āHow to Be Nice 101,ā because right now, sheās flunking.
