The black man and the short Filipino lady working Saturday December 6th around Noon are the most incompetent rude workers I’ve ever experienced in my life - called me dumb and a liar to my face because I requested a new sandwich because there was a hair in mine - said I was just trying to get new food for free; I came all the way from high park just to speak with the manager because Tim Hortons support told me to - and they accused me of lying even though I had proof of the food being handled improperly - they should not be working in customer service

Once upon a yester-year, this outlet was pretty decent as far as Timmy's go.
Here are points of concern.
-employees do not manage the customer base/behaviours. Seem to tolerate serious unruly behaviour as if a walk in the park.
-screamers, panners, begging(no issue, time n place) bathrooms deliberately separated...one for them one for customers. It's inappropriate. Rare for any cafe to pull this. They don't wanna clean both bathrooms. I've told them who were some of the culprits.
Mental illness is no excuse(a reason still doesn't permit anti-social behaviours)
They're enabling the mistreatment of both restaurant and customer.

I don't know if it's about foreign students or what(over the years I've met many whom were here for school only)

Language barriers, cultural barriers and anxiety.

Allowing behaviour of people lounging without purchase, for hours. Ebije food riders, I watch them sit around say 6 at a time
Take up any free chair, loud, block sidewalk, n one small purchase while they eat their own food they brought. It's insulting and not exactly common cultural behaviour. It happens. On this scale it's regular.
Nobody speaks up. It's affected the customer base, the atmosphere.
It's nothing to be asked a question. When it's repeated as they stand near me or asked once by 6 or more people they a day(I come in n outta here) it's a problem. I ignored it as I've gotten on swell with staff.
As well, sweeping n mopping common areas while a line up is growing and around folks eating n drinking. Poor efficiency. It will simply get worse until they close out no doubt instead of actually dealing with the problem
CAMH volunteers bring clients but give no oversight, monitoring, they've no control over the clients behaviour. Talk to them.
Tell the customer who bring s 5 no frill bags, cusses at people. I've eaten lunch, had two coffees and he has no purchase after 3 hours. What's with that. Bad review. Mm

A white male standing outside when I came out with their Christmas cookie and we both were waiting for the street car. He started yelling at me and I had to remind him that I moved because I didn’t want to take in second hand smoke. He then started screaming at me with racist slurs that one brave lady had to step in and check if I was okay because i chose not to respond to his behaviour.

Not going back this place again because their staff was just standing inside watching this whole thing happen didn’t do anything

Good box office, reasonable price and suggestions. I love the staff, good workers and patient. They do their best. Personally, I miss the good old coupons and the 'rolling to win' promotions that offered better chances for a free coffee and could easily be shared with a homeless person.

Perfect location, close to the hospital. However, the tables are often dirty, and the chairs have sticking issues. It's too dark inside, and this invites idle people to catch up on bad sleep, which is detrimental for fresh customers looking for a table.

It's almost impossible to get a table to sit at, and I have seen clients leaving because the line is too long and they've been harassed by beggars. Sometimes, mostly summer, the smell is intolerable without opening the door.

The place lacks power outlets for laptops or recharging, and this is very useful for students, young people and workers, the kind of people who pay for an expensive happy meal.

The bathroom should be open and maintained more but I understand the challenge with nearly homeless people who use it a lot more frequently and sometimes sleep there.

Advice: Rejuvenate the place completely with white walls, more colourful, bright light, and clear glass to show every corner of the coffee from an outside perspective.

This would keep some people more awake while attracting passing customers. If possible, expand upwards for more customer seats and for the sake of humanity.

Provide extra chairs for homeless people fleeing the cold, while keeping street level for new customers and long-hour socialized, retirees.

Finally, hand sanitizers should be filled more often to prevent germ spreading. This is a location frequented by hospital patients and people living in the streets. That's a dangerous combination for clientele and we've learned a great deal since COVID

The staff is so kind & quick. The coffee is very fresh and the store has a huge dining area for customers to sit which is always so clean.
They also have a huge menu (my favorite chocolate eclairs too)
