I’ve been coming to this location for over 4 years, but this experience truly touched my heart. During a snowstorm, I was freezing, shivering, and not feeling well. Gloria noticed and made me a fresh coffee without asking me to pay. When I felt better and went to pay, she surprised me with Timbits too.

Gloria’s kindness and generosity meant more to me than she probably knows. In a moment when I really needed warmth and care, she showed genuine compassion. She is truly an amazing person and a wonderful asset to this location.

They are always slow. They never have enough staff. The place can be empty and I'll still wait 20 minutes for a toasted bagel

This location is a constant nuisance to the neighbourhood.

Uber Eats couriers regularly park 3–5 bikes and scooters directly across the sidewalk, completely blocking pedestrian access. This forces people walking dogs, parents with strollers, and anyone with mobility issues to step into live traffic just to get around them. There is an open patio area right there where bikes could be parked safely, yet staff allow the sidewalk to be taken over with zero regard for public safety or accessibility.

On top of that, garbage is constantly overflowing, blowing around the street and making the entire area look neglected and unsanitary. The storefront and surrounding sidewalk are almost always occupied by loitering and disruptive behaviour, making it uncomfortable for families and residents who live nearby.

This is not just inconvenient, it’s irresponsible. Sidewalks are public infrastructure, not a break room for delivery drivers. Management needs to take accountability, enforce proper bike parking, and maintain basic cleanliness. Until then, this location is a blight on the community.
