So sad to have to report this about one of my favourite sushi restaurants in the city but I have to. They served us water with DISHWASHER DETERGENT and when we asked for tea, they took a very long time. I understand that humans make mistakes and I know this 100% was not intentional, but when this type of thing happens to a good paying, long term customer, it is extremely shocking and dehumanizing.
As a customer here for over 10 years, I would expected that they would offer us full complimentary meal to apologize. Instead they came back to offer edamame. We will never return unless we hear back with an invitation to join them, on the house.

First time here, very bad experience. After I made my order, the server brought one miso soup and two cups of water, I asked what was in the medal cup and server said its water, but it was not water. It looked like soup. After I showed the server she took it away and brought real water. That really ruined my appetite. They didn’t give me any explanation what that was, no apologies to me. Acted like noting happened.

Ordered on uber eats. Fish was not fresh at all! Rolls were TINY and completely different from when I ate at the restaurant. Imagine the special rolls being only 2 cm wide. Same with the regular rolls. YES I’m not joking. Never dining or eating at this place again. $70 for 3 tiny plates of unfresh sushi!?!
