This was our second time at Toca. Still outstanding experience with a relaxed and confortable ambiance. Menu had changed a bit but still great pasta dishes. Maybe stay away from the fried cheese dish (a bit bland). Pecorino plate was amazing though. Always very friendly service!! We will come back.
The server was intended to make me order still water which isn't free of charge and that costed me extra 26 CAD. Besides, the server didn't introduce pricing of that day's special (12oz steak) properly, which should be 58 CAD but he said 50CAD. Very poor experience on service. Foods are fair.
Celebrated our 15 year anniversary at Toca since we were staying at the Ritz Carlton. Had a lovely meal and the service was impeccable...our server Ali was attentive throughout. From wishing us a happy anniversary and serving us complimentary champagne on arrival (and an orange juice for our 9 year old daughter), to the service throughout the meal. My wife ordered the lamb, I the pork chop and our daughter the pasta and they were all excellent. Highly recommend for special occasions!
Had a great time and Ali our waiter was great. We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the food. The lemon / Shrimp pasta and dessert was very good, however everything else was mediocre at best. I expected the Italian quality to be allot better for restaurant in the Ritz. The Salmon sashimi was awful and fishy.
Can't get better service than we enjoyed. The meal was delicious - the pasta dishes were outstanding, the prawns good (small portion), and the steak was just good (not quite as good as it looked.)
Great Sunday brunch! Fluffy pancakes and omelette were terrific; the boiled eggs took a little longer, however were exactly as I ordered them.
friendly staff, nice calm atmosphere. the kitchen is interested in client feedback and interaction, good quality altho portions are little small

Had a great bday dinner at Toca!! our server was attentive without being pushy and gave us great recommendations for dinner. We had the shrimp lemon pasta and cacio el pepe and both were cooked to perfection. the drinks we had were equally amazing with some of the best dirty martinis i've ever had. all in all worth the visit and the price!
Great seating beautiful setting and gooooood coffee!!.

Best experience ever and by far the best Italian I've had outside of Italy. The service was exceptional. Louise was great and made my birthday extra special.

Great experience. Food was great, service was outstanding. They went the extra mile to make our anniversary special. We will be back....soon.
The food was nicely presented and very delicious. I thought the ambiance to be underwhelming.
Good modern Italian cuisine. If you love cheese this is the place. We love the cheese board and the grilled shrimp.

Elegant Dining Experience – A True Toronto Gem
TOCA exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and professional, and the atmosphere was refined yet welcoming — perfect for a special night out.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The house-made pasta was a standout, and the cheese cave experience is something truly unique — highly recommended for any cheese lover!
