My partner and I love this place so much it's a tradition for us to visit almost monthly. We travel across the city just for Tondou. We love ramen and have tried many restaurants in the city, but Tondou is our absolute favourite. They have great vegan options, the plant based ramen is the best vegan ramen I have ever had. The staff remember us and are so friendly and welcoming.

Yummy ramen. It's just so cold today, the seat by the door was kinda cold. But yolo, so is Toronto. The Okinawa ramen had a different texture and soup base which was yummy! Nice change of pace from the fatty oily tonkatsu versions.

I have never tried Okinawa Ramen before, but it is amazingly fresh and fragrant and so very different from any ramen I've tried before. If you want to try something new, make sure to try one of the two Okinawa specialty ramens. I had the Okinawa Soba, and it came with a good and tasty portion of chashu and so many other yummy toppings. The restaurant is very cute and cozy inside, and the prices are reasonable. I've been back twice since trying this spot for the first time. Highly recommend it to all my friends who like ramen but want something a bit different.

A unique Italian fusion between a Japanese tonkotsu broth with basil pesto that pairs together surprisingly well, where the basil adds a fragrant, earthy balance to the rich pork bone sauce. The noodles are cooked al dente for a satisfying chewy texture that clings onto the broth nicely and topped with bacon, french fries, basil, brussels sprouts and grated cheese.

Was looking for a good spot for ramen and the search is over. Everything from the environment, to the staff, to the food was everything I had hoped for and more. I ordered the garlic oil tonkotsu that had some deep fried pork gyoza on the side from the lunch special, along with the Shikiwasa lemonade. All delicious. Service was quick, and the space is great for solo dining as well, and the owner greets you like an old friend.
I can’t wait to eat this again. I got the spicy tonkotsu. V delicious. Great atmosphere, quick service.

Food, staff and atmosphere is top-notch. Dining-in definitely sends you off far way from Toronto.
Very reasonable price for outstanding food, plus they got Orion beer here which I can't easily buy off my local LCBO so that's a win for me.
We had a regular Tonkotsu bowl, Garlic Tonkotsu, Veg Gyoza, Spicy Mayo Karaage and a bottle of Orion to share - all of which is amazingly good 👏 We'd definitely come back to try out the rest of their menu.
